I have not been to Target in months. I just never think of it when I'm in Traverse City. They really have so many cute items in the Dollar Spot. lol...those pastel colors though, just really remind me of spring. I especially loved the little ghosty.
I don't go to Target to often, unless Olivia wants to go when I have her or of course during Halloween season. I liked the ghost, but I wish the face was different lol.

I saw the neon ones! Thats awesome. Speaking of dollar general, I want to know whats going on with all the cutesy Halloween decor this year lol. I walked in there and it felt like the Michaels line all over again lol.
@StellaLiveThrifts I know it's literally mak8ng Halloween dreadful. Plus side to those candy bowls though is they are blacklist responsive. But yes eww all pastels and neon 😝 😝 😝
I work at a small Target in Ohio and we've barely started putting our Halloween stuff out in the Dollar Spot but what we have has been flying off the shelves. I know the shelf we had those Frankenstein and pink witches cauldron on completely sold out within a day, so have those squished faced plush dogs in costumes. I think Target as well as other stores are going with these more cuties/less scary items ajd more pastel colors because they're trying to attract customers who aren't usually into Halloween. Aldo im thinking it's also these cuties pastel items are less frightening to kids and a way for some parents to introduce their kids into Halloween. Also you might want to check back at your local Target next week because I know mine will start setting some of the home decor items like door mats, etc on their front and back endcaps starting next week

And yes, I agree with a lot of what you said! I do think they are trying to appeal to younger kids. Im just a little bummed because I usually only care for Targets dollar items and the threshold items. I don't care much for their actual Halloween as it's too cartoony for my personal taste.

Also check the the Threshold endcap items like Halloween pillows, throws, door mats, etc will be setting this week (although my store started setting the Threshold stuff last week because we have inventory this coming week)
The little iridescent ghostie 👻 was cute, and the small Jack O’lantern 🎃 was pretty cute too. However, I wasn’t as impressed with bullseye playground this year. I’m hopeful they release a few more things in the coming weeks.
Unfortunately nothing I want to pick up this year-and they have had several Bullseye items for Halloween in previous years I wanted. I did think the face on the glitter jack 'o lantern was great(but I dislike glitter), the ghosties tassels on the hand towel were cute, and the sculpt on the ice cream cones was great. I would redo the cones in ceramic, have the cone portion a soft black, and the partially melted ice cream skull white.
I agree! I like glitter however I don't like the color of the jack o lanterns. Wish it was something like black, white or silver. I thought the ice cream cones were cool as well, but I dont like the colors either. Those could have been so much better. 🖤
Those Ice Cream Skull Cones are pretty wicked! I'd have to give them a different paint job, but for $3 that's an easy sale for me. Do you think they were thin enough plastic that an LED tea light would shine through? 🔥🖤🔥
I actually bought those ice cream cones, but for my son to play with haha BUT! I did tell my sister that I thought they were cool, but they'd be cooler black 😂 Unfortunately, I think the plastic is way to thick, but that would have been a cool idea. I'll have to dig out an LED tea light and test it to be sure and I'll let you know!
We at least have less gnomes, but too much pink. I like the crescent moon face with the florals, but maybe would change out the florals. Also, too much glitter and oil slick stuff.
That's true! I have only seen gnomes at at home this year and no where else (thank goodness 😅) I don't mind glitter or oil slick, but I agree there's too much of it. Not enough variety.
Target doesn’t do it for me, the line feels more like Halloween/Easter colors. Too much glitter items and those glitter skulls look half done?? Some items would be cute for the little ones. The potion bottles are ok and can see removing the items inside and redoing them as a dyi prop for a mantle or display. Good luck getting the glitter off you, it will be there for weeks😂

Dollar General has some neon skeleton "Candy Bowls" for 3 dollars that ive already made into some really awesome flower pots
