Having tested some solos on my side with every character, I can definitely understand the pain you had to go through with this run. When pretty much all of Chalcedony's moves put him behind, higher, lower (etc.) than the boss it's not wonder countering is a mess >_> Still, you were able to showcase some nice stuff here. I particularly like the insights on the dodges.

I keep wondering if the skill that reduces counter frequency would've helped but I kinda doubt it. In that scenario it feels like counters would be so rare that when they do happen you're not at all ready for them. I guess another option could be the skill that increases counter frequency so you could make them """consistent""", that could be worth playing around with as well since you can proc stuns more easily with guard counters with a specific skill, iirc. If I ever go back to Chalcedony I'll probably mess around with those skills on a per-boss basis, see if there's anything to potentially make use of.

​@@ViktorForslund From my own testing I had the issues you mentioned when reducing counter frequency and was never ready for them >_> The one that increases them is very useful for combos as you can recover TC like crazy but I found it much more efficient for characters that stay a lot in front of the boss like Shing or Kohak. For Chalcedony and Gall I kept missing because I was never at the right position x)

You know, I always felt something was off with Chal and your breakdown really nailed it down. He’s really fun to play as, but yeah the game mechanics don’t gel well with him.
