No you don't. They spend a fortune to acquire the mining rights and equipment, then spend days in grotesque heat doing heavy labor with zero guarantee of getting anything out of it. For every once in a lifetime story like this there's probably 20 just like them that don't find squat.
my family had 3 mines in the ridge on my mothers side, both of my uncles and my maternal grandfather found a heap, mum had 5 siblings they all went to walgett high before going back to blacktown.
Just out of curiosity: people go on about fuel and so on. I'm guessing that's not all that available in the middle of the desert, but you know what's available? SUN! I never seen a single one of those miners power his machine with a bunch of solar panels... power an air conditioner down in the mineshaft...
To run one car you'd need over an acre of solar panels attached to the car. It's not feasible. Also for all the lefties, windmill and solar farms cause way more damage to the environment than any of the bs yall whine and whine about
Can you guys stop oversaturating the thumbnail images? We all appreciate the colour and depth of opals play of colours. But hypersaturating the images is just a disservice to these gemstones.
Inaccurate there's a small belt of the "nut" that runs near the royal peacock claim in Nevada . Before the claim to the left , I went about a 1/4 mile out .
i think should not cut half but just sanding in round shape is more money but its bery hard to do like that N without knowing inside n make round shape is 🤪😜😝
You can't buy at retail and then expect to sell at retail again. A "certificate of excellence" sounds like a sales gimmick, even a "retail appraisal is for a REPLACEMENT upon loss or theft. You have to buy at Wholesale (or less) and then do WORK to am item (cut/polish/set in jewellery) and then MARKET it to.make a profit. This isn't flipping a pair of Jordan's or a purse. It's a specific industry with ins and outs and experience and history. But snazzy RUclips comment you got there!
The beauty of nature is amazing .
Man I am so jealous !!!
I absolutely captivated by Opal and so wish I could be on Lightening Ridge mining for Opal !

Hard work in a hot place deep out in the bush.
Grawin opal mines, NSW - 1979-82 & Walgett high school. Fun times and great memories from the past.

Should contact them and tell them about it U could save them alot of money and that's a positive for this world👍
Because solar doesn't generate near enough power to run the machines.

I do Solar, would take alotttt of panels. Panels wouldn’t be warrantied as they’re always going to be moving them. Would make a bad investment
@@tonywebster5818 can get 400w per panel.
They may only need 20 panels.
Are the irregular shaped gems used as jewelry or showcase pieces, or both?
Wonder what they actually sell it for
Untuk apa orang menjual emas? Seperti itulah orang menjual batu ini berharga ini
@@ketutastawa_1111they mean they wonder what price they sell them for
As a city person, gotta love their accents. So broad.
MOST Amazing 😍 Opals
There's pineapple opal and they didn't think to call it Pineopal

Happy thanksgiving United States of America 🇺🇸

Opals Are Sent From Heaven 😇
I sure wouldn't trust that one female appraiser. Seems to me she's deliberately under valuing the smaller opals.
Don’t sell it to her tell her you’ll get a second opinion !
There’s plenty of buyers out there who will pay more than she offered
Thats alot of opal sediment channels. This is going to be a big find the deeper they go!
wish i could do the same. opal is life lol
Opal lovers dream. Thanks so much!❤❤❤
Dude, the 50k pineapple looks lile snazzy amethyst when the light gets wrong (or right) at it.

It’s why I clicked make your own thumb nail and critique it. This isn’t your channel buddy.
why do you always cut the nuts in half.,,.,.,??
Because so many are blanks, they need to know quickly if it's worth more investigation.
OLD EPISODE

Never been crazy for pineapple opal. I mean yeah, some pieces can be mind blowing but thats a very rare exception not the rule.

30,000 for that parcel? Wishful thinking, 5,000 might even be a hard sell.

Hilarious acting - they are going through dry rock and pretend to find one in the raw and the stone's soaking wet and clearly has already been ground.

GO for it. Now sell for 50 thousand and look for more.

Too much fill and not enough opal. Makes a 10 minute video an unnecessary 45 minute video.
По русски это пиз-дец❤❤❤😂😂😂
