Bayside is a actually quite expensive! I wanted to live there but it was expensive. I lived in Jamaica where i was subletting a room and that costs me $600 per month for rent. Then i lived in Pomonok and Flushing.
Extremely biased. I live in Queens. The areas highlighted are expensive. Most of these areas are flood prone And extremely difficult to get into. And, a all of these areas Are Manhattan prices. Most of these areas are not as “welcoming,” as they appear here. Bayside is not affordable and it is not as safe as this implies. Queens has a number of wonderful neighborhoods like Jamaica, St. Albans, Hollis, Queens Village, all are diverse and are constantly changing. So, this video is designed for real estate. How about East Elmhurst, Elmhurst, South Ozone, Ozone Park, most of which border on the ones in the video and more affordable.
How about Floral Park and Bellerose? Some of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Queens, totally suburban with beautiful classic homes, no damn high rises and that Queens Blvd., plenty of good stores and shopping on Jericho Tpk. and on Sunrise Hwy. at Green Acres Shopping Ctr. Probably the best neighborhoods in Queens.
@@tommcconville677 yes those are great neighborhoods too but I’m thinking those places have longer commutes into Manhattan if you don’t drive which is probably one of the main drawbacks. I usually get into Manhattan on the LIRR which is just one short nonstop ride into Grand Central Station or Penn… and I can always use the Subway as a backup plan.
I live in kew garden hills, if you ever want to own a single family house in the neighborhood you need to be Jewish, the people in the co-ops are diverse but all the single family homes are 99.9 Jewish owned, fact, I think it might be the most segregated neighborhood in all of nyc
I'm so sick of hearing about Astoria/L.I.C. As usual in these types of videos south east Queens is all but forgotten. Woodhaven, Richmond Hill, Ozone park and south Ozone are just totally non existent. The whole area fell into a black hole or something. Oh and if you want to move to some of the places on this list, like Kew Gardens, you'd better be the V.P. of Coke or something. Otherwise just pretend it wasn't even mentioned.
I love when I SAY I'm from Long island NY.. and people are like" you ain't from New York... it's not one of the 5 boroughs of NEW York!!!! UMMMM Queens NY IS on long island,🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🆗💯👍🏼🤣🤣🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
So is Brooklyn so what ? Everybody knows " Long Island " refers to Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Are you from those places ? If not then YOU'RE NOT FROM LONG ISLAND!
Actually Long Island is on Queens You actually do your research and actually knew anything you would know that Long Island actually used to be all Queens
This guy keeps saying " headed INTO the city " well Queens , Brooklyn, The Bronx and Staten Island IS ALREADY THE CITY! That's that Manhattan elitist b.s. Why don't you just say headed into Manhattan or Midtown ?
Where is Flushing? 2nd highest foot traffic in NYC behind Time Sq.
I am 90 born in queens lived in Jackson Heights left in 1970 went upstate -- Great Video
I grew up in Maryland, but visited my grandparents in N.Y. often. One set lived in Astoria, and the other in Whitestone. Both are great places.
Astoria, bayside affordable? Are you even from queens? Botanical garden is where??
AI generated video
The only Botanical Garden I know that is close to Queens is Brooklyn Botanical Garden in Flatbush, Brooklyn by the Brighton Beach subway line.
@@luislaplume8261 Yeah some things are true. some are NOT true.

Long Island City is hands down the #1 place to live in Queens.

Bayside is a actually quite expensive! I wanted to live there but it was expensive. I lived in Jamaica where i was subletting a room and that costs me $600 per month for rent. Then i lived in Pomonok and Flushing.
you're white and lived in both jamaice and pomonok? 2 of the most dangerous places in queens.
Why wasn’t Middle Village up there, the zoning is much more neighborhood friendly and they have a jewel called Juniper Park.

Jackson Heights is a unique place!
Yeah! Full of illegal aliens who fear the Federal Department of Immigration and Customs enforcement.
the average bayside home is like a million, i guess thats affordable compared to midtown or something but yeah
I live in Forest Hills- I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else in Queens
How about Floral Park and Bellerose? Some of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Queens, totally suburban with beautiful classic homes, no damn high rises and that Queens Blvd., plenty of good stores and shopping on Jericho Tpk. and on Sunrise Hwy. at Green Acres Shopping Ctr. Kew Gardens and N. Richmond Hill great nabes, agree.
There are no “scenic waterfalls “ in Forest Hills
greenway north, forest hills gardens 🙂👍
why College Point was not included flabbergasts me?
None of these neighborhoods is affordable You also left out Little Neck, Douglaston, Rockaway Park, and North Flushing, to name a few.
Yea but you can’t find parking
stop with the parking! Its NYC, lose the car.
Not if you work there and drive a van
Whitestone is expensive and not really diverse...
Richmond Hills??
Richmond Hills is great, N. Richmond Hill in particular above Jamaica and Hillside Aves.along Myrtle Ave. where Forest Park is.

What “scenic waterfall” is this guy saying Forest Hills has? No such thing.
A waterfall in Forest Hills ? Practically none of the video is actually from Queens .
Briarwood??!!
Jamaica? Are you nuts?
Jamaica Estates and Jamaica are two different neighborhoods. Jamaica Estates is a beautiful neighborhood and VERY expensive.
U forgot fresh medows
This company is terrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Scratched up all my furniture and extorted me for more money. AVOID.
Long Island City should be number one on the list It's the most popular place and more people move here than any other part of Queens
Howard Beach Ozone Park
What about Flushing the toilet 🚽 bowl?!
really jamaica estates used to be a shitshow back in the day
Say what? Those are multi million dollar homes and mansions there bro. Teflon Donnie's old hood.😂

Woodside blows many away
lol. this is funny. whitestone and bayside are 2 of the most expensive hoods in queens next to douglaston. diverse? nah, no latins or blacks.
Bayside is one of the most affordable neighborhoods? Are you joking? It’s one of the most expensive zip codes in the country.
jamaica???
Jamaica Estates. Huge difference.

Manhattan is called THE city . The rest are called the outer boros. All 5 together make up New York City.
@@carolynpeart20 I know that. New Yorkers don't like the term " outer boroughs " . It's an insult to the vast majority of New Yorkers.
NYC is a dump. I grew up there.
Not where I live!
dont come to aq 😂
