Pentax K1000 Full Repair Part 1 -Battery Wire Replacement-

The first part in a series of repairs for the Pentax K1000, a few more intensive than you should probably mess with without proper experience but the wire replacement is simple enough just use the right solder and make sure to have plenty of ventilation handy when doing so.

I learned my lesson after melting a battery compartment trying to solder a wire to it and after watching one of your previous videos I now have my own poison:) I make sure to not wear a mask when using it.

Where do you get new wire? It is very thin wire

You can strip a old mini usb cable and use the wire inside. My wife says I'm conservative, but it works.
