i dont know why I keep listening to this when it gives me so much sadness and peace at the same time. It reminds of the time when I was travelling back to Pakistan from Turkey and I was going to the airport from my hotel in Istanbul - the city was so quiet, dark yet bright with its lights
This movie and the music makes me emotional every time, for the longest time I never understood why. Now I understand it is because it is a reminder of moments, memories and people lost in time, a better time.

Oh, "Lost in Translation"! You stole my heart in 2003, and I have loved you ever since. Watched you on DVD at least 12 times since then. I love love love that movie. It was one of my inspirations for moving to China for 10 years.
It's an amazing movie. I couldn't possibly care any less if people think it's overrated. I don't base my opinions off of that. This movie just hits me on a deep level. I think it will remain my favourite movie forever unless some other brilliant movie with a similar movie comes along while im still alive.

I'm considering moving to Japan. My grandmother was full-blooded Japanese from Kumamoto and died before I met her. The remnants of her lay in this song.
This song makes me sad. Reminds me of 2003, when I first saw it. Before I went and spent 10 years in Asia. Ah, all the innocence and hopes and dreams I had then..
Watched this for the first time last night while going through a depressive episode. Truly a beautiful film that captures what it feels like to be isolated not just in a place where you can't understand the locals, but also in your life in general. Both Bob and Charlotte could use Jesus in their lives. Felt bad for them both.
Thank you Mark Chris and Daniel Bevys for doing such a great and magnanimous deed to extend the uplifting experience of this song. You have great sonic technical skills as this is seamless!! Oh, what does "Tommib" mean? Is it a Japanese word? I go to a translator site and it doesn't translate, which is maybe fitting for such an ethereal song.
