Shenandoah National Park, they walk around the campground. Can't get close to them and they certainly don't come when called. lol At a local State Park, they wander along the side of the road until you stop, then they move away.
Yes, I have seen that before. Semi-tame deer in parks. In Yellowstone and at the Grand Canyon I have walked within 20 feet of Elk and Moose. Did not want to get any closer. Always made sure there was someone closer to the animals than me. Figured that they could do damage to those persons first. Moose can be nasty
