Malabar porata is actually made with an addition of an egg. Also there is a twist in curd soup .The secret is grind coconut,jeera and one green chilli to a paste instead of basin .Add curd only after the curry has cooled down . Seasoning is done at last. This is the original malabar style Try this method some time. Malabaries use basin and dall variety .They say it causes gas in the stomach. Ur cooking is awesome I don't deny .Its just the traditional malabari cooking which I wanted to propagate. Nothing else.
