Thank you for the video, we have booked a room at the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon because of all the amenities that it has within walking distance. We have 3 kids... a blended family 13, 13, and 16! cant wait.... We are from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. We just got a dump of snow the other day, can not wait to leave it!!!!! -6 right now

I truly enjoyed this I cant wait for the next vlog! I will be on the Vista in June and I am seeing everything through your eyes until I get there...Interesting to see that the sail and sign cards are on the door. Do you take the card to customer service to put money on it?
lisa leach you can actually put money or carnival gift cards on when you check in before getting the cards or you can go to guest services desk once onboard. So much easier & faster with this check in process.

Hi. I just booked this hotel because of your Vlog. I was originally booked downtown. May I ask how you got from the hotel to the cruise port? Was that also a free shuttle, or was the free shuttle only from the airport? If not, may I please ask how much shuttle cost from the hotel to the port? I am cruising solo, and I like to have all information before I cruise. I thank you so much.
Glotang Hi, There is a free airport to hotel shuttle. You just call them when you arrive. From hotel to cruise port a taxi is about $40. Although the hotel offers a ride to the cruise port for $10pp. So that would probably be the best choice for you traveling solo. You just put your name on the list when you arrive. Hope this helps. Amy Kondrath If you are the 1st ones in the Red Frog Pub you get a free drink. It was a game we started with our son a few years ago and now he thinks it's fun to do. So we do it for him more than the free drink....😊

@@SharonatSeaTravel In the fun room with the lego blocks, you went to the door leading outside three times. The first time, the door let an alarm, the third time, there was a small creature at time stamp 28:22 on the deck outside. It could have been a bug or possible a toy. Check it out.

jayvee arcinas We bought the wine at Publix grocery store in Miami the day before. The Dewar's we pre purchase through the gift shop online at Carnival, click on in-state room beverages.
What hotel did you all stay at in Miami, dec will be my first cruise and unsure of hotels.
Erika Dorsey Hampton inn pre cruise, Hilton by the airport post cruise. The Hilton was nicer, although the Hampton inn had included breakfast & close to grocery store, Walgreens, CVS, & restaurants. Hood for pre cruise stay. Both had free airport shuttle.

Been there went to Canada and forgot to tell the bank. I had 30 dollars in cash. The hotel helped with the bank and they released funds thank god

How do you get to get on earlier than others? Is it from booking so far in advance?
mccrarycharlie We get on earlier because we are platinum from cruising with Carnival so much. Once you have a certain number of cruise days you get priority boarding.

I wasn't sure if it was something special. I am always looking for ways to save money. I have been on about 25 cruises and plan on going on Carnival for my first time next year. I thought maybe they had some sort of a money saving giftcard program. Thanks!
Jdazzler15 No really although we also buy giftcards through Verizon using rewards and save 10%. so we sometimes pay off our cruises this way and get another 10% off entire cruise.

JACKSON FAMILY Our flight was about 4 and a half hours from AZ.
I used to work at a call center for Bank of America and regardless of where you travel you need to call whatever bank you use to put a travel flag on your account. I do apologize for what happened and next time make sure you put it on your accounts....
