    Hey Mr. Nick, I came to your channel after that bald guitar guys recent video. Really dig your stuff, and this video in particular helped with some of the issues i have while mixing guitar and bass.
    Thanks man! Keep up the great work!

    Nick!
    Can you please do a tone video for the band The Home Team? Specifically, from their album Slow Boom.

    Great video, really helpful. Just wondering, could you route the guitars through one bus, and just EQ and comp the bus in one go, instead of on the separate tracks?

    • @NickHillMakesMusic
      @NickHillMakesMusic  3 года назад

      You could, absolutely, but you you see in this video and other similar videos, even with EQ’ing the individual tracks and processing stuff individually, stuff still makes it through. It builds up. If you did it once at the end, it may be a bit difficult to not neuter the whole thing.
      Give it a shot. See if there is a difference. There’s no wrong answer here

    Nick, could you tell me which ownhammer ir's you use? I've been to their site and they've got a ton of different stuff. Thanks!

      I'm using stock cabs almost exclusively now but I have several videos with tones in which I use Ownhammer stuff. I tend to use quite a variety.

      @@NickHillMakesMusic Could you give me top 3 or 5 Ownhammer cabs you use? I know you only use stock now, I just purchased all 3 of your packs over Thanksgiving weekend.
