He does sell it now, but in limited market atm. No international shipping yet. Until it is more mass produced, it is steeply priced at $30+ USD for 3 small sized containers of his recipe chili oil.

Sounds like Wendy's needs to change the oil in thier deep fryer.
It is the powder they put in the grease to make it last longer it is supposed to clump the fine particles that cloud the grease so it filters out to keep the grease from burning and hence last longer. Wendy’s used to be good not so much anymore.

Not sure about the oil changing frequency for Wendy's in the US, but in Canada the chicken fryer oil is changed 2x a month at least when I was working there. The chicken fryer would be filtered of the loose breading bits every 2-3 days. Can't comment on the type of oil US Wendy's uses either. Where I was we were using Crisco oil.
@@mohit_panjwani the deep fryer for the breaded chicken fillets, takes the most volume to fill, hence most expensive. The oil itself was change 2x a month. But the oil was cleaned and filtered every 3 days or so. Don't say gross, if you don't understand the behind the scenes operations of a particular resto.
I cracked up when you whipped out the hot chili oil! Reminds me of my dad when we go out to eat. Without fail, he always has a bottle of hot sauce on him. He even keeps it in the car 😆

I've been watching you for a while, but I got to say I'm impressed with the amount of food. By looking at this, I can tell this is shot in 1 day.
5x chicken sandwiches, a whopper, fries, some spicy chicken and chicken breast, boba, boba toast, cashews, snacks, and to finish off the day, AYCE hotpot.
I watch some competitive eaters and somehow you surprise me more than them.

Yep, worked in mcdonalds when younger and you can tell the difference in taste on the day before and the day after they change the fry oil (if i remember we did it once a week on tue/wed)
Also as some restaurants are more corporate owned and some are more self owned they can also very in quality and how things are ran, ive sat in a drivethrough at mcdonalds at 10pm and it took 15min for an order as the entire workforce was taking a smoke break outside. The one i worked at was pretty tight ship, but we were also really busy as we did weekly bus arrivals (usually orders of 20-40 mcdoubles and mcchickens

I agree with your assessment of all the sandwich's. Prior to Popeye's my favorite fast food meal was a Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich with a chocolate frosty. If Popeye's had a frosty machine my world would be perfect. Well, that is as far as spicy chicken sandwich's are concerned.
Popeyes is great, I love the sandwich, the spicy fried chicken, red beans and rice, and mashed potatoes and gravy .

Whenever you're back in Texas Mike, you have to go to Church's (if you haven't already) and try their Spicy Bone In Chicken with their Honey Biscuits and a pickled Jalapeno on the side. My favorite fast food chicken place.

Honestly man, my regular at Chick-fil-A is the spicy deluxe and I absolutely love it. Like, we don’t have a Popeyes so there’s nothing else around that makes me so happy. Always juicy, slightly crispy, and I like the fixings on it
