I’m a real Cajun and a chef. You didn’t do too bad sweetie. Maybe just onion powder. The main herb we use is parsley. Old bay seasoning is NOT Cajun. I actually hate it lol. For a home cook I think you’re great. I really want to get my skills up in Asian cuisine so I watch your videos a good bit. I’m glad you included this one. Be blessed young lady.
This probably isn't the same "Asian" you're talking about, but Punjabi-style Tandoori chicken and Punjabi-style vegetarian are probably the best pizza I have ever tried. I do wonder what she would do tho, sounds interesting asf

For your spice tolerance videos you should try drip sauce, sorry if you already saw my comment on your other video but I wanna see if it's hot to you. They have a black garlic flavor in a small size and a large. If you want to get it, check out dripsauce.co
You don't have to protect yourself. Everyone's recipe is different. Just make your own version of Cajun seasoning! People who get mad at you are idiots
Lisa, I used this recipe (minus the thyme since I didn’t have any) for cod in a butter cajun sauce like you used for your lobster and it was soooo good!! Thanks for the recipe!!
Literally any seafood but shrimps is good. You should also look into blackened seasoning too. A slightly different spice profile but has a nice kick if you find a good one. Very good with fish and scallops
Coming from a student chef right now I would have ground all that up just so it sticks better and you'll sear meats better if the herbs are ground up. More surface area=more color and color=flavor
Hey there! ive been watching your videos and ive been thinking of just random food ideas i can create, i have some.( also i dont know how these would be cooked and such so if you want to try fit whats the best for you) Taco Spice Ball: Taco Covered in 1 layer of cheese, Covered then in any spice or sauce you want, wrap them in some layers of rice paper, then eat! Taco Spice Ball Stick: 4 Taco Spice Balls, get a tortilla , fill with mozzerela cheese, then cover the 4 taco spice balls in the tortilla with the mozzerela then bake. Mushroom eggs: Get Cooked Mushroom and flip the mushroom up-side-down, fill the scoop part with eggs, then eat!

Heyyy I wanted to tell you that if you're going to try to eat spicy noddles. Try it to veggies. Ive tried it today after seeing your videos and I think if you try to eat with veggies(like capsicum, carrots and spring onion) in it, it kind of lessens the spiciness. And one more thing I love youuuuu. Love from India ♥️
cayenne pepper and paprika really good Cajun seasoning has a more red look and it’s a bit more on the spicy side at first aka it has a pretty spicy bite but then dies down to flavory goodness
Where I live it’s close to impossible to find the ingredients separately in supermarkets(onion&garlic powder, paprika powder, some types of herbs, etc) , and the last resort would be to buy insane amounts in large bags on Amazon. so I usually have to rely on manufactured products 😂 I wish I could make them myself and adjust the ratio according to preference.

maybe add a little brown sugar yo even out the saltyness, but everyone have their preferences
I've never heard of using brown sugar, does it not affect blackening?
