Nice lap, well done. This game is unusable on the PS4. Upgraded to v 1.04. This upgrade purports to be a “Playstation” upgrade but has obviously not been tested on the PS4 - yet again😳 There are “grass speed bumps” all over the place which launch you off the bike but which the bots can just ride through. The frame refresh is just ridiculous especially around Ramsey hairpin. The game also hangs while the bots just keep going. It is disgusting that game studios expect paying punters to do their testing for them which should have been completed pre release. The PS4 version is not fit for purpose. As well as trying it on the PS4 I have tried running it on the PS5 in compatibility mode with exactly the same results. The PS5 version does now run quite well though Ramsey hairpin still shows considerable frame refresh issues. I don’t have a PS5 so have done the testing on my son’s console. I bought it on Steam too but my laptop isn’t up to it. In both instances I bought the extended version. £100 plus wasted. Oh well, back to TT IOM 2.
I play this in realistic mode with no hud apart from the speedo to see what gear I'm in. All assists off and I cream a 140+ ive never played this game any other way. Just been back on it for the first time in about 10 months and still manged to get a 139 on my second lap. It's nice to see they've added the new skins. And hickmans new bmw goes upto 701 fully upgraded. It's faster than the gas monkey bmw 😊 but I'm shocked that they didnt add a leader board to the game yet! Makes no sense why they haven't.. the TT is a time trial race so you'd think they would. I know its a different company but the first 2 had a leaderboard that I'm probably still first in or at least top 5. The esports thing they did was kimda pointless because you dont get anything. I did the first ever one they did and came first over the 3 events. And you literally get nothing and then it resets. Pointless indeed! But still the best TT game we've ever had. I came from rims racing so i was instantly tuned in with the way the bikes handled. And ive known the course for years so didn't need to learn anything. That gave me huge advantage in the early days. Im sure everyone has caught up now. I think my fastest was a 148mph but that was in the first week. And it was before they nerf the bikes.
