Pretty sure you will thoroughly enjoy Home Alone 2 as well. After 2, they made more. But once Macaulay Culkin wasn't in it, a lot of people weren't interested in seeing it. The second one has the same cast, AND same "villains" (victims? LOL), with the addition of Tim Curry and Rob Schneider.
Reacts like a College Dean dressed like a farmer and then almost spits his drink out at "dumby". You sir are an enigma. There are in fact 5 or 6 Home Alone movies, but only 2 with the same cast, only 3 with the character Kevin McAllister.
"You guys give up? Or are you thirsty for more?" Merry Christmas! ✝️ 🙏 🎄 🎁 Fun Fact: Theatrical movie debut of Hope Davis, Paula Newsome, Kristin Minter, and Tracy J. Connor. Family Affair Fact: The boy who played Kevin's cousin Fuller is Macaulay Culkin's little brother Kieran Culkin in his feature film debut. All In Fact: Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern felt indifferent about the movie's potential during shooting, so they intentionally gave over-the-top performances, neither one of them believed this movie would become a massive success. Mrs. Doubtfire Award Fact: The picture Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) finds of Buzz's (Devin Ratray) girlfriend was a picture of a boy made up to look like a girl, because director Chris Columbus thought it would be too cruel to make fun of a girl like that. The boy that was used in the photo was art director Dan Webster's son. What Script Fact: The line "You guys give up, or are you thirsty for more?" was improvised by Macaulay Culkin. Marv's lines "Why the hell are you dressed like a chicken?" and "Maybe he committed suicide?" were improvised by Daniel Stern. John Candy filmed his part in only one day, albeit a twenty-three-hour day. Almost all of his dialogue was improvised. Thank You Very Much Fact: There is a legend that Elvis Presley (who died in 1977) made a cameo in this movie. Many of those who believe that Elvis is still alive maintained that the heavily bearded man standing in the background of the scene where Mrs. McCallister (Catherine O'Hara) is shouting at the desk clerk (just before she meets John Candy) as Elvis. They asserted for years that the man is in the correct age range (Elvis would have been around 55 at the time), makes a head movement that Elvis frequently made during concerts, and that no record has ever been found about this particular actor's participation in the movie. The theory was finally debunked in 2018, when investigative journalists identified the extra as a man called Gary Richard Grott, who had passed away from a heart attack in February 2016. Grott's family was able to confirm that it was Grott in the movie and also revealed that he had been working regularly as an extra on several Chris Columbus' movies, although Home Alone (1990) was the first one that he actually appeared in.
It's so "sweet" to me that John Candy and Macaulay were together again in this after Uncle Buck. Even though they didn't share a scene together, close enough. The funeral story by Candy was completely improvised, which makes it even more hilarious, rest in peace...Marv's spider death scream is legit. He really had arachnophobia. The greatest crime committed in this movie is certainly... that Kevin never even gets to eat his highly nutritious Macaroni and Cheese. He's most well known for this but "The Good Son" and "My Girl" I highly recommend. "What, now?" "No tomorrow ya egghead yeah now!" 😂
The All State reference hah. One thing I really like about your channel is how you express abstract thoughts with vocabulary. Helps me almost feel as classy as you! Also I might suggest watching the documentary on the making of this film. It's a crazy story how it almost got canceled and the way another studio swooped in to save it.
@MrValentineReacts I think it was on Netflix, can't remember where I saw it. 20th Century Fox kind of illegally seized the opportunity. Anyway I really enjoy the first two films. In terms of John Williams scores, I would equate this with the first three Harry Potter films...more so the first two since Columbus directed them.
"M'yeah, that makes sense; it's like die hard for kids." - Boyle Man we'd quote - no lie - the b&w movie word for word when my cousins and me would see each other for the first time after a min. Even now we'll throw each other a: 'keep the change, you filthy animal." U should watch the home alone episode of 'the movies that made us' this is a historic film in movie land lore too. Tldr; Great reaction, it was... all thumbs 👍
RUclips has no idea what it’s doing these days. More technical dysfunction, broken algorithm, and weird censorship than ever before and than anywhere else on the internet.
With Honors to see Joe Pesci’s best acting in his career. I used to live a half mile from Macauly Culkin in the late 90’s. The delivery service I used to use said they always came to my house from his every time I ordered because he ordered every other day, including 2 cartons of cigs a week.
If your ordering 12 pizzas heres what ya need to do 3 of those pizzas need to be cheese, 5 need to be pepperoni, now depending on who the pizza is for you might was something with a veggie but 12 pizzas should feed 20 people including kids it should
Dont talk to strangers, dont get in the van, he dont have puppies or candy he just dont have em, what are we doing now talking to strangers getting in the vehicle with these people but when ted bundy did eveeyone freaked out
My personal favorite Christmas movie is the underrated gem MouseHunt (1997) with Nathan Lane but this movie's good too, so after this if it's not too late I'd love to watch you react to MouseHunt please and thank you haha 😄👏🏻💕🎥🎅🏻🎄🐁🤞🏻
Hi Mr valentine just found your channel I am watching home alone too it is a old favorite of mine too. Check out hulk the dog he is awesome or check out masters of the universe it has heman and skelotor in it it kicks ass enjoy your weekend Chrissy.
There are sequels, but they are not as good. "Home Alone 2" is still enjoyable, but once you arrive at "Home Sweet Home Alone", you know you hit rock bottom.
We got 4 home alones 2 about kevin and the bandit's part 3 is a different kid same peramiter personal opinion part 3 as a new kid new everything good choice part 4 i wish i cold tell you anything about part 4
I'm so glad that you pointed out how poorly they treated Kevin. Most people focus on Kevin talking back to his parents. His family was horrible.
abysmal. It's insane
Pretty sure you will thoroughly enjoy Home Alone 2 as well.

The reason why Harry sometimes has a gibberish vocabulary is because Joe Pesci who played Harry can't swear in a family friendly movie as Home Alone
Nobody talks about how absurdly rich they are, they live in an actual mansion, they got a trip for 14 to Paris, $122.50 on pizzas in 1990 is crazy
Good one, Mr V! Yeah, this is a keeper, LOL! Thanks for sharing it with us. And Merry Christmas to you! 🌲⛄ 🎁 🎀 😊

Love the first two films of this series. Hope you do as well

I thought Uncle Buck came first then this.

Some movies become Christmas classics. In Germany, 'Little Lord Fauntleroy' from 1980 is shown on several channels every year.
Daniel stern is one of the greatest actors of all time and his best movie is bushwacked yes its best movie
I like 1-3 . I find the new kid in 3 utterly adorable. Kevin is only in the first 2. After 3 they are pretty bad.
Love your reactions.🎅👍👍
I've made RUclips mad and cant post on livestream chats but Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas, sir!!
RUclips has no idea what it’s doing these days. More technical dysfunction, broken algorithm, and weird censorship than ever before and than anywhere else on the internet.
Merry Christmas!! I'm curious about this shadow ban lol
@@MrValentineReacts Hey where’s my reply to his comment ?
Love your reaction brother! Can’t wait for Home Alone 2 😏

Kevin just knew what to do hes a scared little kid on a power trip he just knew what to do, god worked fast on kevins prays god said ok

The admiration of Culkin’s acting….was that sarcasm or is your acting getting better ?
The stuntmen falls on the icy stairs became legends in the biz. For years, stuntmen used it as a standard and reference.
Need more Culkin stories from you my friend. I'm hooked
If your ordering 12 pizzas heres what ya need to do 3 of those pizzas need to be cheese, 5 need to be pepperoni, now depending on who the pizza is for you might was something with a veggie but 12 pizzas should feed 20 people including kids it should
The sequel I like even better!!
Merry Christmas ❤
Merriest of Christmases 💙

I wish my punishment would be to stay the night alone in THAT attic. :)
Have you seen Rookie of the Year? The guy who plays Joe Pesci’s sidekick is in it. Good movie!
Have not! I want to watch it for Neil Flynn alone (scrubs tv show ftw)
@ I love that show. Very unique brand of humor.
Daniel Stern- also the narrator of the original “ The Wonder Years”.
Have you seen ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE yet Mr. V??
Hi Mr valentine just found your channel I am watching home alone too it is a old favorite of mine too. Check out hulk the dog he is awesome or check out masters of the universe it has heman and skelotor in it it kicks ass enjoy your weekend Chrissy.

There is a Home Alone 2 anything after 2 in my book don’t count
You cant kill marv i personally feel marv got it worse ive been burnt marv got it worse
Home 🏠 Alone 2 and 3 are even better
No, they most certainly are not
Please give up please give up
Home Alone has a unique charm that they try to replicate in 2 but it’s just not the same. Stick with this one and move on to better movies
The second one is a classic as well.
