Dude, minus the current business status my background is almost identical. I grew up skateboarding and surfing, which I think gives you a unique perspective on how to perceive failure. I can relate to the "what's next" mentality. I started plumbing at 17 and after 22 years I opened my residential service business about 5 months ago. We're getting van #2 ready for the field right now. I really appreciate the solid info you're putting out.

Everything you spoke about perfectly describes how My dad and I are feeling. Thank you so much for the insight.
If you don't mind me asking, who was the mentor/ coach that you worked with?

Also, is that coaching/mentorship something you offer as well?

Is it possible to do these type of numbers on the commercial side?

Great content! Love it. Question about changing your prices from $259, $325……$595.
Do you have your technicians get onsite and quote $595/hr for a typical drain cleaning job to snake a kitchen sink? Or do you flat rate the $595? What’s the approach here and what happens if the job becomes more difficult after you’ve already quoted a flat rate of $595?

      595. If you mess up on your quote, you eat it.

When you say hourly rate, you are talking about time onsite/ labor only?

This is me 100% right now it like you been riding in the truck with me the last 6 months. Partner isn't as much of a risk taker, old trucks like $5k a piece already replaced transmission in one the other is acting up. Making 50k draws and its gone before we got it. Turning towards service way under priced still but it's all about to change
