One of those interceptions was an hell Mary last play of half. I forgot about the two fumbles. It was the way they played in 1979 and 80. Still 1980 was my most favorite season for Cleveland.
If the stat for dropped passed existed back then, the Browns might have the record. There must have been a dozen. On every drive, there was at least one. Logan dropped a near touchdown. Ozzie himself dropped a couple. I was feeling for Sipe by the end of this. Browns should have won this by two scores if they caught half of them.
Sam to Sipe - if it is not wide open throw it into Lake Erie. The Brown's kicker was hurt and in turn terrible this day.. He had already missed from just a little further out. This was not a gimme.
This is excellent! Like listening to their old MNF broadcasts!
Brings back wonderful memories from my childhood listening to Jack Buck and Hank Stram on the radio together
Great to hear Jack Buck and Han Stram. Rest in Peace, Jack and Hank. You are greatly missed.
Red Right 88 starts at the 2:46:30 point.

Good old Cleveland Stadium minus 37 wind chill factor.
Jack Buck did the Ice Bowl and this game. At least he avoided the Freezer Bowl.

Should have fired the coach after deciding to throw a pass in the endzone from the 14 with 55 seconds to go.
