- In today's episode, we leave the Azerbaijani countryside and head for the big city. The capital of Baku has been dubbed by many as "the next Dubai," and we were intrigued to find out if there was any truth to this. What did we think?🤭

Beside Baku that has boom because of the oil, rest of the cities or small towns villages are at stone age level ^^
Baku is not even comperable to Dubai. It has lots of things that Dubai doesn’t have. Baku has history, culture, atmosphere, vibe, good climate and much more. Baku is not artificial. Baku has a soul❤️
Dubai does as well tbh it's just a bigger tourism powerhouse
Azerbaijan is only nice in the city the tourism spots once you leave it's garbage

Thanks Roger , it s really beautiful. I did live in Dubai, Doha- Qatar , currently in US, love this countries but should to admit Baku is special.
It is indeed very clean but once you go out of the touristic area it isn't.
Only in the central area of the city, outside of the areas where tourists tend to be there's extreme poverty and ghettos.
@@Gohaz. so what ? Azadlıq awenue is also clean. Most part of Baku is clean, impressive and very well maintained like nowehere in another place in the world.

Actually Baku is not Dubai. Baku is an Old city and has a very rich Architecture, which makes it more European, and the new buildings are reminiscent of Dubai.
Azerbaijan itself is located in the Caucasus, between Eastern Europe and Western Asia. But we call ourselves simply the Caucasus, and Caucasian Country.

Ohh I miss Baku ♥️ the tastiest veggies, fruits & meat!! the basil growing in Azerbaijan is different from the traditional green one. It has purple- red colour and tastes a little different.

Comparing Baku with Dubai is not entirely correct.
Dubai has nothing to offer other than high-rise buildings in the form of boxes. The city is gray and monotonous, while Baku has a rich historical and cultural background and a variety of magnificent architecture.

Yo I am living here at the moment, it is a really beautiful city. Would defs recommend it as a new place to check out. Great food, friendly people, but a tad expensive and windy in the winter.

I am impressed by the distance you covered in Baku solely! I can totally empathise and imagine the extreme heat with talk, walking, filming arent the best combination! I have done that myself and usually despise doing it under such a weather. Well done for the hard work guys. I cant wait to see Armenia from your eyes, as I’ll be there in December. It used to be case that Western cities were setting the standard for cleanliness, safety and organization while cities elsewhere were looked down upon as unsafe and dirty. Now the things are the other way round. Dubai, Qatar, Baku, Singapore, Seoul and cities across China have risen while Western cities are falling, from rising crime rate in Sweden to wide open drug use on the streets of San Francisco.
Putting Baku to same category as Dubai actually shows your knowledge. Baku is one of the oldest cities in Eastern Europe or whole Europe altogether. No need to seperate Azerbaijan from Europe .
