Happy Mother’s Day
Having a mother and being a mother are two entirely different things. I am a mother three times over.Each of my children have one mother.
The word unconditional applies to both. Who’s going to be proud of you when your mother goes away?
Your children are not always proud of you especially when you dress funny.
My mother was very pretty and she sang ,and her hands we’re lady like ,
lovely .Physically I did not take after my mother. I had my father’s hands, working hands.
Once at a swimming pool a kid either jumped or fell in the water on top of me and grabbed onto me and my finger my finger broke the child was saved probably because of my finger I was left in the pool to fend for myself . showed my mother the throbbing most likely broken finger , sometime later she said it’s funny you know,because I broke that exact finger when I was about your age.
A flood of pride washed over me and I looked at my bent finger and compared it to hers.True I had my fathers hands but one of my fingers was exactly like my mothers.It’s the tsk tsk , nuh uh ,pointer !Maybe there was hope for me yet! it’s still there my little crooked finger.
