I absolutely love my M1. And you’re right anytime I get it out everyone wants to shoot it and hear that ping. The lack of recoil is amazing but it would be something to haul all day on the battlefield
I have two M1 Garands. I love them both. One I ordered from CMP was a special request. My father had served in the Philippines during WWII fighting the Japanese. He died a while back and I wanted to make a shadow box with the M1 and his flag. The Philippines were sending back all their M1 's and CMP went over to see what was worthy to bring back. They ended up with about 80,000 that would come back, so I sak them to build me a Spring field, new wood, new barrel and repark every thing. They did.... now I have a beautiful rifle that shoots 1 MOA at 100. The other is an M1 I traded 5 dead trees for. A man actually stopped by to see what I would take for those dead oaks. I ask if he had something to trade, he said he had an old M1 he'd trade. My mouth was watering. I had always wanted an M1. When he brought me the rifle, I almost gave him my dozer to boot. :) Even my daughter loves the M1 Garand. Nice video.
I completely hear you on this. I feel the same way about my Glocks. They serve a purpose and do an excellent job at that. However they are nowhere near as special to me as my magnum revolvers.
Dude, great minds think alike, we share the same common likeness in guns and rifles; in 45-70 lever guns, to 45LC SAA pistols, and now the M-1 Garand (in .308 thou), However, I have yet to obtain neither of the 3 guns yet but they are in my future purchases.
Good stuff. Good lookin rifle. Im just gonna say ine thing, an ar is absolutely a mans gun. Theres been a shit ton of really badass dudes that carried ar's/m4's in some really hostile places in the world in wars and put alot of really bad dudes in the dirt. Yeah, the garand is a beautiful rifle, is indeed a battle rifle and served our troops extremely well but theres a reason our guys are still rollin with m4s, they work. If you want something i consider a mans gun, go grab a single action army, a good trapdoor rifle or hell even a 1878 double barrel in 10 gauge.

Haha great minds do think alike! I hope fortune blessed you soon and you get all three
I agree. If the general population has it, I don't want it. That is why I like nice OU shotguns. Great video.
I’ve tried to get one. No luck yet but I’m still trying
Have you tried the Rigby .450 caliber?
I need to!

Haha the 10 gauge definitely! I’ve got a couple of single actions
Sarge kept getting on me for shooting in 3round burst. It only takes one round to do the job. Your waisting ammo.
Fast forward through the first 4 minutes to get to the point.
