Lived in Escondido a long time and have a lot of historical documents from the founding of the town . Also have a lot of graduation invitations from Escondido high school from 1905 to 1925 that are very interesting.
Omg I love the golden egg their prices did go up (over $100 for 3 omelets) and one kids breakfast maybe hiring her is what made the jump increase makes sense
My grandparents moved to Escondido from Ramona in 1950. My mom was born in Palomar Hospital in 1947 and she still lives there. I've lived there most of my life but am in Arizona now. Escondido will always be my hometown though. I've got a painting of the original train station in Escondido. The artist painted it from a photograph. It's just a copy and not the original painting.
It's sad the lockdown & stupid restrictions really destroyed a lot of business due to them not being "essential". It affected all of us in a negative way, & should have never been allowed in first place.
I escaped 5 years ago, its a complete Dump, a true sewer, tons of crime, more homeless than you can count. Absolute corruption everywhere. A complete disaster, since i left, a much better life. So nice to be back in America. Good luck Escondido, your gonna need it. !!!!
@@robertchilders8698 I totally agree. I imagine it was a real nice country town back in the day. But today, oh my God it has fallen from grace. It could be so much more. The homeless, Illegal aliens, among other things have just ravaged that town. So many places have suffered the same demise. This country truly has gone to hell !!!
@@tylerzorn6152 I had to leave Escondido because to many illegal aliens were taking away my job opportunitys! That was sixty years ago!! The border wall should have been built 70 years ago!
Oldies. . Deforestation 110% It truly sucks the many buildings are being destroyed. Property management is upside down and eviction is rapidly expanding throughout Escondido. I predict Escondido will be called”Condense” By 2030. It hurt leaving my home, but the City of Escondido’s crap team of enforcement, engineers, code enforcement, attorneys, billers and etc are totally slacking on the job/responsibilities! There is much work to be handled and yet they are “dragging there heels!” 35 + years resident/volunteer. Ps: no coordination in keeping Escondido and clean and up beat city. What happened to y’all when you first started to work for the best city in the world!? Shame on the city of the Escondido for not protecting the city from building turned into a tight, crowed and infested with bums and drugs, tuff luck to the new generation entering in this place.
Julian, about 30 miles east of Escondido, had several influential & prosperous Black citizens. Google the Robinson Hotel in the little mountain mining town of Julian, Ca.

Wow 5:00
One time I was having breakfast there and found a curly hair in my omelet. But I still go once in a while
Escondido the best city of San Diego
Poway too
Yeah OK so why not O.B , PB , Del Mar , La Jolla , Carlsbad and Encinitas , Vista or Oceanside ? DEFINITELY NOT the best or even top 4
Ayo? I know this place
Escondido means HIDDEN it should have stayed hid
But the city’s approval to Tare down n build is gonna screw it all up
