I can’t imagine passing up a W12 for a V8. The W12 is already the sportier ultra luxury alternative to the Ghost. Why compromise the prestige and the ultra luxury smoothness of a W12 for a noisy V8 in an ultra luxury four door sedan? I imagine if you can afford this car, you can get a V8 sports car.
Everyone's opinion is different my friend. Gas mileage may be an issue, not that they can't afford the gas but because they simply want to burn less. Some simply like the fact that, even though you lose four cylinders and 2 liters of displacement, you only drop about 4 tenths of a second from zero to sixty. I know I prefer smaller, more efficient engines myself. I do fully understand and respect your idea though, just throwing in my two cents.
You’ve got a great style in presenting this car! It’s such an amazing piece of machine & art to appreciate and just be completely awed by its magnificence… I’ve always thought W12 is the only way to go at this caliber but you changed my mind as I do appreciate a lot of the driving dynamics coming from the lighter and more balanced setup. Great review!!
Excellent review. It would be nice to have head-to-head launch control V8 vs W12. I would like to see how much of a difference is 0,4 sec in real life performance. Would W12 be one meter ahead or a total car length ahead with that 0,4 sec better start. Thanks!
The V8 sounds more exhilarating and gives up little in performance to the W12. It's probably the smarter option unless you're looking to impress with excess.
definitely the v8 for better weight distribution and a slight cost cut. Would rather spend that V12 premium price for the optional Chassis derived from the panamera.
It's 2024 and I'm currently shopping between the 2021 V8 Flying Spur and the V8 Maybach. Other than the "prestige" of owning a Bentley I'm not seeing where the Bentley is a superior luxury sedan to the Maybach, ir even a highly optioned S Class. Opinions?
Fantastic review! Just what I was looking for! Would be great if you could do a comparison between the new S63 AMG they just came out with and the V8 (or the W12 and get a 911 in the future as a second car) Flying Spur, I have narrowed down my choices to those two and having a very hard time deciding. On one hand the Bentley is a noticeable step up or three in terms of quality materials and design, and it's always nice to walk towards your car and see something special you don't see too often. On the other hand, the Benz is a Benz, unbeatable reliability and tech plus the value retention is unmatched when you do want to trade in 4-5 years from now. This might be our last chance to sample this type of elite engineering, as a petrol head who also wants luxury and a comfortable ride for the family it's very difficult making a choice between these two gorgeous machines, especially considering the entry price. Would love to hear your thoughts as I have to make my decision within a month.
At the end of the day , it depends what you grew up driving , a fwd vw golf or a rwd ac cobra replica with a v8 . Learning with the nose heavy cobra , you learn how to drive a rwd , with the golf , its how to hang on as the chassis flexes and the wheels go in different directions , if you grew up driving rwd , you will instantly go for the W12 .
I really enjoyed your comparative reviews of these two luxury saloon cars. Very informative. I enjoyed your delivery also, far more mature than another American I could mention, who seems to act like a 12-year-old kid waving his arms around and shouting all the time. Nice job 👍
I have the V8 continental gt … it’s the better version it’s lighter handles better sounds better and with a ecu tune has just a much power and torque as the w12
Thanks for a great review, really interesting to hear your driving impressions of both engines back to back. That ash veneer is just gorgeous, Bentley interiors are something else. In an ideal world, I'd have the V8 Flying Spur and for my 12 cylinder vehicle an Aston DBS, then you don't need to choose between 8 and 12 cylinders, just have both! 🙂
Know I don't like the White and Black that's ordinary Bentley is known for colors. All cars are now coming in shades of White to Silver to Grey to Black you see a Blue every now and then
This is in my opinion the best interior in the automotive industry right now. Simply amazing quality and exquisite details
No bro... rolls royce is the best interior..
For me there should only be the W12 version, so people don't make the wrong choice.
People mainly like the w12 cuz it’s a w12 in this generation. The v8 is all you really need
Who don't want 4 more cylinders? It's the W12 for me.
People who don’t think like millionaires want the V8 because they don’t think about also buying a V8 Ferrari.
@@ohroonoko Probably because I don't want a V8 Ferrari, I want a V8 Bentley.

@@LerRhann those customers should get the Hybrid V6 then, and the V8 should be discontinued.
The Ghost has a v12 not a w12
I think he said it was a $55,000 difference.
V8 rules the world my guy
Bentley is not just a car but a DREAM KING BENTLEY
Yes white on black is fire. Its sporty en bold. blue or green with creme interior is playing it safe and that says a lot about your character.
W12 anyday

This is my first time to your channel! Great review! Super informative and down to earth on the driving experience. LOVED IT!

I would already be happy with a V8
And that's wishful thinking 🤔
Go and grind for it because riches don't come by wishing and procrastinating!

best color i have seen
The V8 versions actually weigh less so not only do they sound better but its basically just as fsst as the W12
Great video thank you

Doesn't the W12 have the active anti roll bars as standard?
Ofcourse w12 is the daddy
bentley looks the best black on black with lots of chrome accents ,, look up the 2019 mulsanne w.o. edition that is peak bentley
w12 is what i would prefer
Awesome video & it’s the V8 for me
White exterior paint with blackline and cricket ball red interior
Best specs for me

V8 in blue YESSSS
black with chrome accents is classic
Both V8 and W12 sound wildly satisfying!! Idk what engine I would choose🤔🤔
they should put it with a naturally aspirated v10 engine
@@oscar7476 Nah, V10 fits more well on supercars like the LFA and Lambos.
Exterior color, Bentley has a killer color called: DRAGON RED!
Yes !!!!!
Yes my dragon red convertible is amazing!
Love your work brother 👍🏼
Great Video!
That turning radius is mind boggling!🙆♂️
Sold!!!V8 it is. I'll take the S please
Is v8 and w12 have same interior and features?
Excellent review. I was looking for a comparison to the Ghost and you confirmed what I was thinking. Thanks.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
please tell me where is this place you drive around
I can’t be the only one who prefers the V8?

@@Fasteddiebreakshearts It’s all relative. How much more power and torque could you get from tuning the W12?
The W12 will be much more Reliable down the road !
I'm waiting for the full electric EV with Solid-State Batteries by 2030
Why W12 would be more reliable? I've heard V8 is simpler and need less cooling, thus it's more reliable.
@@mikiyosangyo1627and the v8 is used in a multitude of VW group products (cayenne, panamera, urus, rs q8, etc). It is a proven engine.
21:36 what is that tech called that make all the wheels turn
This was a super awesome review!!! 😼 😎
W12❤️ reason Why cuz I just bought one 🔥
My dream car ❤
W12 all the way. No if and no buts. Straight W12. And just cruise at 30mph to 50mph depending upon the speed limit. No need to drive fast.
Totally. It’s nice to go slow enough to allow others time to admire it
I like the metallic white….but Bentley does indeed have some other full colors that are unbelievable… 🤓

If you’re getting a Bentley, why WOULDN’T you get the top trim?
Dope vid
I love both of them
Great car review👍
Thanks! 👍
astonishing!
How do you get to drive all these nice cars? :)

He loves this car🤣🤣🤣
305 tire on 21inch 315 on 22inch?
Op10 &415op

Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it!
V6 supercharged
what a car
Is that route 1 in California?..thats a sexy car perfect for cruising down that road 👌
you done "rev up" a Bentley ;-)
Does the continental gt feel more comfortable or the flying spur?
Flying Spur. The longer wheelbase improves ride comfort.
Seems like the flying spur would win in a landslide. It’s built for comfort.
they should call w12 twin v6
Well gee, that's exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!
love it
Great review💯💯
🙏
The white on black is spectacular, but the blue on black would be my choice.
I want it to have a fancier blind spot indicator 😂
Great video milesperhr
Cool car! Thanks for sharing!
Looks absolutely gorgeous
I would go for the V8, it has enough power. The W12 it's just too much.
And the V8 would have the least weight on the front end meaning better handling.
It will looks better with tinted windows or ceramic tint
I dont see a bottle cooler in back console
It's an option
It’s an option for the alcoholics. Lol. Mine won’t have that since my kids will be sitting in the backseat of my car.
Bro I got like 12 ads on this video. chill out
Looks like 9 auto generated ads were displayed. I agree that's too many. Thanks for letting me know (I don't do this many placements manually)
Pay RUclips $10 a month like I do and you will get zero ads.

Should I buy a Bentley? I heard they are very unreliable.
I’ve never heard that. I think that is BS.
newer ones are pretty good, it's at the 60-80k mile mark they start to fudge up, sell it by then.
1!!
