Bro always carry extra plumbing products, fuses, and belts for the truck. When you're camping and full hook up, once you leave the site always turn the outside water source off. Never leave your awning open when you leave. Consider attaching a cut off valve on each line. Good luck!
That meal you put in foil is from way back in the day when my dad was a kid in the 30’s. Most people call it “hobo dinner” we always had that when we camped out. Usually he put 2 porkchops with a sliced potato, some sliced onions and peppers, salt, pepper and butter in the center of a sheet of foil. Bring the sides up an roll the ends together. Put the “pillows” on the coals for 15 minutes, turn over and cook for about 10 minutes. If your cooking more than one open one up to see if you need to cook a little more. Enjoy

Part of your travel kit; go to Home Depot. There's a little kit specifically for PVC pipes. It's a cleaner and glue. Also buy individual shark bites. That will help you make quick repairs on PVC pipes. Just to give you a heads up; glue does not stick to dirt. So before you put any glue on pipes, you must clean it first. I'm not sure if you did that or not. Hope this helps.

My wife and I have been RVing for 20-plus years and presently travel in a 40ft Class A Beaver. Been through and seen almost all there is to see in the multiple campers and motor homes. We travel with all sorts of tools, tapes, and glues and we even travel with a flux core welder just in case something snaps. Anything and everything that can go wrong, does go wrong. You are traveling with a home experiencing a 4 to 5-point earthquake each time you travel. Bro and I hope it is ok to call you my RV bro you just keep that positive attitude. I can tell you horror stories of things breaking and us having to fix them. We love this lifestyle and we still have our home but travel 6 months a year in our motorhome. It is all good and you are expanding your mind through these travels. An expanded mind can never go back to its original form. Travel opens you up to all that is wonderful in the world. Keep up the videos, we love them.

You have a good channel. I would encourage you to get out there and explore America. You have a nice setup and can easily do it. A few things is you can expect those types of leaks. They do not seal them properly from the factory. They slap them together and ship them out as fast as possible. Go through al of your fittings and ensure they are wrapped properly with plumbers tape and snug them down. If you are using lead acid batteries make sure they are topped off with distilled water. If they were low let your jenny run to get them topped back off because adding in the water discharges them a bit. I would also recommend getting a battery cell tester. They are cheap but will tell you if your lead acid batteries are no good or just need maintenance. Talk with other folks around you. In my experience most in the RV world are super friendly and helpful. You will develop many good friendships that way. Keep posting your experiences and get out there and enjoy life.
Wow! Jack, thank you so much for that valuable information. I am learning a lot. The dealership took care of the repairs as the RV is still under warranty. However, I do need to learn those gems you shared for future reference. I am going to eventually get a lithium battery. And you are right, it’s unbelievable how super friendly and supportive the RV community is. I appreciate your support!
I also had issues with the toilet water valve so I ended up putting a shutoff valve so we can still use the water in the rv. My rv is a two years old and it has happened twice. Now I carry a extra toilet valve with me.
Interesting. So, many people have suggested the same thing. The dealership fixed it since it was still under warranty. But, I will keep that in mind in case I run into that problem in the future. Thanks for your input!

Hello Donna, Thank you so much for your support! I say, just go for it now rather that later. Maybe even try weekend getaways. I started Car Camping at the beach before I got an RV and it was so freeing and relaxing.
The generator use around other campers on a beach is something I think people should not use except maybe couple hours a day to charge battery bank. The noise pollution from it takes away from the beauty of the place. I like your video. Super nice set up
Hello from Cali. Today, this video popped up, and gave me an introduction into your adventures. Great energy, transparency, perspective and presentation. God Bless.
Loved the video. My husband said you should get actual PVC glue and cleaner for your PVC pipes. You clean it and then use the "glue" isn't regular glue on both sides and hold it together for about 5 seconds as it will try to push apart. It actually sort of melts it together to make a good bond. He said he thought it would have had a better bond to begin with but sometimes it isn't done correctly in the first place. Looking forward to checking out more of your videos.

We have been rving full-time for 6 years. I have never heard of this water issue happening. I hope you got it fixed. I would like to suggest your purchase a dehumidifier for your rig to make sure you pull all the water out. The dehumidifier is essential for full-time living. Your battery should not have died that quickly. We installed a cut of switch on our original battery. Rick put a video up how do this simple fix. We now have lithium batteries. I just came across your channel. Great video. God bless you!
Hello! Thank you so much for the info! I am loving the support of the RV community! The dealership checked it out and said it was a bad battery, so they replaced it. I do plan on getting lithium at some point. The toilet issue was covered and fixed, as well. Also, they found a roof issue that they fixed. SUV pulling that monster trailer!? Looks like an accident waiting to happen to me. We have a 3/4 ton Ford and pulled a 33', which my hubby wasn't comfortable with that so we down sized to a beautiful 27' Salem Hemisphere. Which is much more manageable for us. Now days salesmen will say anything to a customer to make a sale. So we went from a 9,200 lbs trailer to a 5,400 lbs. Meaning that those Rockies are looking more and more do able to me now. Also remember not only is the vehicle pulling a trailer but you also have to add into the equation of all the weight inside the SUV. But thanks for this video as were in Arkansas and am looking forward to checking out this location, so thank you. Lastly Cracker Barrell is my all time favorite restaurant ever, yummmm.
Nancy, thank so much for your comments. Yes, although the specs say I can tow the weight of the trailer, its a lot. I went earlier today looking for a tow vehicle, specifically a truck. THE ARE SOOOOO EXPENSIVE NOW! But, I am going to have to break down and get something soon. Do you have any spots in Arkansas you suggest visiting? Yes, I totally agree that Cracker Barrell is delicious!

Just found your channel. Glad you stay positive regarding the water issue. As a 20+ year RV'er, whoever told you.... you, would have issues did not lie. lol. A few ideas for you....... consider carrying a few gallons of extra fresh water placing it in your cabinet and second , on Amazon, you can obtain towels, which are dishtowel sized compressed in a small packet size wrapping, the size of a bar of soap. The military uses them when no water is available and are excellant in an emergency. Just throw them away when done. If you look hard enough you can find them in beachtowl size too. Hope this helps.

battery if allowed to drain completely while in storage will not charge back to 100%. Lead acid batteries are terrible for this type of usage. While driving the factory wiring harness only trickles charges back to the battery. Might be a pain but you could remove battery when taking to storage for more than a few days and take it home and put on a trickle charger. Then while running down the road the truck engine will keep the battery topped off. safe travels.
Thank you for the info Tom! It does have a battery disconnect switch. But, when I took it to the dealership, the determined it was a faulty battery. It was still under warranty, so they replaced it. Disconnecting the battery anyway when not in use is a good idea. Eventually, I will switch to a lithium battery.
I was there van camping in Dec. It was a nice stay. After my 4th night of boondocking, I moved to Mustang Island SP for some power. All my power stations needed charged up & by then, I needed a break from the winds & cold. I prefer Port A over Padre Island. Thanks for sharing you experience and embracing the minor setbacks Bromadic🤙🏾🤙🏾
Thank you so much for your support!
I am blessed to have a great dealership who took care of everything quickly.
Just found you. We will be watching!
Thank you for your support!
Just found your channel and I definitely subscribed, my dream is to go out on the road and just be free the night setup you had on the beach looked amazing 😊🥰❤
Hello April! Thank you for subscribing! I am still a newbie to this, but RVing is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It’s so freeing and relaxing. I say, GO FOR IT!
@@bromadiclifeadventures1470 it looks really relaxing even with the plumbing issues lol, it's 4am I'm in Jersey and about to watch your last upload enjoy your weekend 😊🥰
I appreciate your support! Another episode comes out tomorrow.
There’s always a plan B. We love Port A. Your nighttime is so zen.
Thank you!
I enjoy watching your videos. I hope to get a camper for my family soon.
I appreciate that Roy!
My husband and I have been campers for about 10 years we’re not full time yet but we are thinking about it. Enjoy your trip!!
Thank you so much! Go for it!
Just came across your channel thanks so much for sharing. Enjoy your travels 😊
I appreciate it Ms. Nancy!
Hey Bro. Sorry you had such a ruff night after the Cracker Barrel stop. I really enjoyed your video.
Thank you Dorothy! It’s all good. There are definitely more great experiences than ruff ones! I appreciate you watching.
Keep living your best life. Stay positive! Cowboy stew is always a good campfire choice. Blessings!
Thanks, you too! Ooooo! Cowboys stew sounds good. Do you have a recipe?
@@bromadiclifeadventures1470 well, it was much how you cook your meat and veggies. You can also use a Dutch oven at camp. Do everything the same way , brown meat 1st . Add potatoes add beans if you like. Add water. Season to taste with garlic and onions pepper little chili pepper. Slow cooking! Don't forget the cornbread which can also be cooked at the campfire.
@@TakeNothing4theJourney Wow! Thank you! I have been thinking about gettin a Dutch Oven. Its something about cooking outside over an open fire.
@@bromadiclifeadventures1470 yes the food is so good when using fresh ingredients over the fire. I think you would enjoy it! Keep exploring and enjoying the outdoors. 😁
SUV pulling that monster trailer!? Looks like an accident waiting to happen
to me. We have a 3/4 ton Ford and pulled a 33', which my hubby wasn't
comfortable with that so we down sized to a beautiful 27' Salem Hemisphere.
Which is much more manageable for us. Now days salesmen will say anything
to a customer to make a sale. So we went from a 9,200 lbs trailer to a
5,400 lbs. Meaning that those Rockies are looking more and more do able
to me now. Also remember not only is the vehicle pulling a trailer but you
also have to add into the equation of all the weight inside the SUV. But thanks
for this video as were in Arkansas and am looking forward to checking out
this location, so thank you. Lastly Cracker Barrell is my all time favorite
restaurant ever, yummmm.
That foil meal looked delicious! Wish I could do that! Take a trip alone and relax! Lol
Sarah, just go do it! Thats what I finally had to tell myself!
Good evening…I enjoy your channel I’m planning invest class B RV… can’t wait to start my journey may god continue to blessed you on your journey…fireplace and food looks great💙
Hello Ivona,
Thank you so much for watching! That is exciting! Those Class B's are super nice! I hope we cross paths soon!
I just did my first car camping trip. Definitely adding this location to my list of places to go! Great setup!
Thank You Fly Dawn! It is snowing and sleeting here in Dallas. Even though I have an RV, I want to do some Winter Car Camping just to see what it's like. How was your first trip?
Wow! What a beautiful beach! Thanks for being so candid and sharing your TRUE experience while RVing. Sometimes some make it look so glamorous as if they never have an issues. This is why I’ve been so hesitant in purchasing because I don’t want to have to deal with all kinds of issues by myself 😮. Im glad you made the best of it and showed us how to stay positive through it all! The food looks so delicious and I can’t wait to see another one of your adventures in your RV!
Thank you for watching Lady Lydia! There will be issues. Thats just part of owning an RV. But, the experiences when everything is working right, is PRICELESS!
Love your outside setup with the Tikki Torches, even tho it looked creepy out there, lol....Lve the RV FP...1st time watching your Channel...Sheila..🟠👍👍
Thank you for watching!
Know you will get your plumbing fixed, just enjoyed your video. Thx for the boondocking experience. Looking forward to the next one.
You bet! I appreciate your support! I was able to take it to the dealership and it was under warranty, so they fixed it.
Very cool. Thanks for the good and the not so good.
Thank you!
Really really cool video. The trips in the rv are a lot longer then driving. I remember driving from New York to Texas. It took us two days lol. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Oh wow! Now NY to Texas was a drive! Thanks You!
I've boondocked there several times , its always an adventure!
Yes Sir!
I bet it was beautiful being on the beach at night. Port A’s beach is a place of peace for me.
Yes Rachel! That is my go to place for peace, to clear my mind, and relax.
nice trailer man ,hose clamps for leaks and glue too.teflon thread tape to seal threads too, pretty soon all your storage compartments will be filled with spare parts and tools of all kinds lol welcome to rv life but the memories you make will last forever lol, also always roll that awning up at the first sign of high wind, the damage will cost thousands to repair, happy motoring
Thanks Bill! I am already seeing that happen.
You need to use some clamps on them plastic tubing and joints otherwise switch to metals that won't rust or come loose! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🌟
Manufacturer obviously dry fitted the PVC pipe and forgot to clean/glue it permanently. Easy to do with PVC glue kit.
Hahaha!!!! First of all….I think that was the quickest prayer blessing over food I’ve ever seen!!! 😂 My man blinked once and was like amen! 😂 at the Cracker Barrel restaurant. And secondly, is that a Dallas Cowgirl jersey??? 🙄 Lol….. Yes, I’m new to your channel. So enjoy, have fun on these trips because we’re definitely gonna have fun with ya fella! 😃 And as far as your water leak, could have called the company Jayco to assist you on how to handle that leak.
LOL! Man, a brother was hongry!
Man o man am I ready for RV life. One day I will get there. Loving the setup and beach scenery and the food looked delicious. May you have safe and enjoyable travels.
Thank You! Make It Happen!

@@bromadiclifeadventures1470 Thanks friend.. I'm getting ready to get back on my editing.. I've had some technical issues, but I love camping and editing

@@bromadiclifeadventures1470 that's the trick.. enjoying the process. Enjoy your travels, hope to run into you sometime
I spend a lot of time on port Aransas beach. It’s beautiful. I do leather craft work in different places around the country and staying in this area for a few months.
Yes, it is beautiful! I could literally stay there for days and do nothing.
Hello 👋 I love watching your videos , I wish I could travel with you.
Thank you!
Great job! Thanks for making this! Watching from Killeen, Texas. My wife and I will be heading to North Padre towards the end of October to do the same thing with our RV.

Thank you Laura! I will definitely remember that for next time.
Your channel just popped up in my feed. I've liked, shared and subscribed. Praying God's divine covering as you enjoy this beautiful world He's made. 🙏🙌
Wow! Thanks Marcia! I always need His covering. I am not sure if you have seen my Denver - Day 1 episode. But, when I was up in those mountains, I was in awe of his creation. There is so much more I want to see.
This is the first Episode I've seen but will take a peek at the others beginning with #1. GLORY TO GOD for the AWESOME work of His hands🌎. (Psalm 24:1-2, KJV)
You should have gone to home depot or lowes and visited the plumbing department. You need pvc glue. I'm a fellow RVer out of San Antonio and it is a great way to see the country. Great vid - thanks for sharing!
Whats up Don? Next time I definitely know what to do. Man, I am loving this RV thing. I wish I had started sooner.
Love Texas ❤
Just started watching. Love the video. Appreciate how you still found the time to go to church Amen

Awesome video. You are easy to listen to. I love the cooking element.
Thank you so much Patricia!
Man, you could've stopped in Houston and picked me up!! I love camping on my Texas beaches!
There will be a next time! 😎
Great vid! Port 'A' is our home away from home. San Antonio being the main stomping grounds. Glad you had a good time despite the RV problems. I hope you've been to Port 'A' during the warmer months. It's really nice. Never knew about Cracker Barrel RV lodging. That's pretty cool to know.
Thank you! Yes, I have been to Port Aransas in the Summer. I Love It!

Originally watched this vid because of the area. Love that Texas coast. Really enjoyed your presentation. Then, when I saw you take time from your holiday to go to church on Sunday I knew I had to sub. You seem like a great guy and enjoy your content.
What’s up John? Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it! I don’t deserve all I have been blessed with. So, giving God a little time is the least I can do.
I thought the same thing! It's nice to hear that you went and without making a big deal out of it, letting me know it was just natural to you. Now I'm reading your response, and I see I was correct. It's beyond wonderful to find like-minded people! God is so good to us ! Way more than we deserve or could ask or think! 🤗🙌🏿🙌🏿
We love Port A. Hoping to get there this year! Enjoyed the video. You took things in stride, something I’m learning to do also.

Wow! Thank you Rowdy One! I appreciate the info. Please, feel free to give any helpful info. I am ready to learn as much as I can!
On Amazon.... They are listed as body toweletts..... About $25.00 for about 8 or 10. We use them and find them very handy in emergency.
Ok i am about to check them out now. Thanks!
Thas tight,,,, you said Bro-Madic .....
Great trip and great meal 😋
It was! Thank you for watching!
Great video, and I commend your positive attitude in the face of challenges during your trip. Not being able to shower sucks, but you handled it well!
Thank you! Yeah, it can get frustrating. But, I did not want to let that define my trip!
Bro the way you popped on the screen at 21:35 had me rollin!! 😂😂😂 that glue and tape off the toilet look like it wore you out!!

Hello Kat! That's one of my fav's, as well. Ok, I am spontaneous. If I call you and say let's go to the beach, don't be surprised. LOL1
A man of God will never let a little mishap ruin his day. Keep the faith
Yes sir!
battery if allowed to drain completely while in storage will not charge back to 100%.
The sand is much better packed & you don't have to worry about the water coming up close!
Do you go see the Dolphins? It's pretty cool.
🐬
Awesomeness! Mustang Island is my next beach trip.
