It seems that some dislike the fact in truth that I am right about the economics and or big business greed of the watch industry has become their own demise. I am not arrogant, I am right like I recently stated about another topic on Ticktock which I won't get into. Whether you like or purposely dislike does not change the subject matter and the fact that I am 100 percent accurately right. My profession is research and I can rest assure you that my statements in this video were not just pulled out of the air. They were professionally researched and the data extracted is fact and not highly educated speculation. If i dont know, I will ask or ensure I educate myself before I state. I humbly thank you for watching.

There is a sect in the watch community that praises the symmetry of the dial and they seem to dislike any complication that disturbs that. Watch industry is then happy to have an excuse to strip off any "unnecessary" complication.

There's also a large number who likes a power reserve but don't get anymore

I'm not implying that every watch should have a power reserve function. It's just been monopolized out and or negated.

I can understand owning 3 brands for the standard 3 market segments, but Swatch's 17 brands are freaking overkill. I just read about an instance where one of their middle market brands created a new innovative movement but ended up killing it because it competed too closely with Omega's accuracy.

absolutely dead accuracy you speak! If I'm not mistaken, the exact watch and movement you're spot on is the Longines Ulrtachron and the special highly accurate ultra hi beat movement has been cut off. All because of the monopolization of the Swiss Swatch Group. The Ulrtachron high beat movement I dare say invades and truly overtakes the Omega Co-Ax movement and exactly what you spoke in your comment is probably the number one largest example of how or when you monopolize a huge segment of the watch industry, it's the same as basically eliminating healthy innovation within an industry that is in dire need of innovation far more than we need so but cutting off some great movements all for the sake of Omega's fragile EGO. SHAME ON YOU OMEGA AND SWATCH GROUP! Great comment and perfectly spot on at that.
