Thanks for your educational comments on PPE. I have noticed that for some reason many resin artists do not comply with the recommended safety regulations for volatile organic compounds. VOCs With many threats surrounding us, VOC dangers are based on data and denying possible carcinogenic compounds affecting one’s health is a sure path toward hazardous exposures. Thanks for putting the info out there.💜🌎
What a beautiful mold,Ms Tracey.Love both the shades of greens too much. And final results look fabulous, love the cute froggy 💜😍,thank you always for sharing your amazing creations 💖
Super mold with plenty of options for different looks. Very good example of how fast PU cures and I hadn't thought about using a black to cover and then top up with white if you run out of black but need it finished ASAP!🤔 Your lighting is SO much better with the new set up and sound is crystal clear!!!🎤💡 It was interesting to see Emma's green and that gorgeous great nail colour together. I guess you could colour the veins with light green/gold metallic paint to break up the similar greens on this one. Thanks for the great video🙏❤❤😊
Thanks, and thanks for the feedback on the setup. Some is better daylight now I have a much bigger window and some is artificial, so I’m glad it’s working 😊
My wife just found that mold. I hope I get it for Christmas. Oh the colors are amazing. So shiny and full of color. I like blue frogs, so I think I will try that if I get it for Christmas.
I love how that frog turned out ❤ Maybe, since the two greens are so similar, adding a little yellow to the non flake powder to lighten it could help differentiate the 2? I do love those chameleon flakes ❤
As soon as you said there wasn't enough black resin and you were gonna bodge it I knew it would come out amazing. (it did). i loved the optical illusion of the frog being convex/concave. Temu has had some amazing, thick, well made molds recently. Really well supported underneath so no sagging sides. If the anti static bag is the same as used with embossing powders it's just cornflour.
The frog turned out beautifully. I have a lot of Temu mold and they hold the powder greatly. Only used mica powder on them. Need to get other stuff. Beginner here so yeah, I’m learning a lot from your videos. Thanks for the PPE reminder, it’s essential specially since I suffer from asthma. My respirator is a 3M but a full piece and my glasses fit very well. Live in an apartment so open all windows and turn on all the fans I have toward them. Thanks for another great video. And the new set up is great!
That mold is so adorable. I'm gonna have to get one. I've been having trouble with my leveling boards, as well. I don't think it is a matter of your boards losing their level at the feet. I think it is that the surface of the board being imperfect. I tried some pocket hugs & a couple other things a few days ago, and after fidgeting with the feet of my board for probably at least fifteen minutes and checking each corner with a separate small level, I still had uneven surfaces.
You know you can use mica s like paint by adding a bit of alcohol to the mica and have much more control of where it goes, it's also great for detail molds😊
Those kind of tree frogs are a bit of a chameleon. They change color somewhat depending on background. I have seen them in Central America. Good save with the PU -worked out better than could be expected. Thanks for the video. Good luck with getting the rest of your craft room finished.
Yes, they are. I might try for a proper Red Eyed Tree Frog soon, with the red, green and purple. But then - why would a tree frog be sat on a lily pad.... maybe it's not a lily pad but a random leaf.... ahhh brain is whirring lol
Thanks for sharing this experiment with us. I find Temu molds are pretty good. But I have only been doing resin for 1 year. So, really qhat do I know? I do know I learn a lot from watching you. ❤❤❤
Glad you're finding my videos helpful. Yes I find their moulds good for bargains. though many of them are now available on Amazon at a similar price. They probably won't last as long as high quality moulds so if I can I do invest in posh ones like Molds & Shapes for the ones I'll use a lot. But for low usage, and a lot of fun choices, the Temu ones are great
The frog doesn't have to be green...he could be one of those exotic tree frogs...the really poisonous ones!! 😊 I would have made him all purple with like neon green eyes and ties or something...lol 😂
I know normalvresin isnt ideal for outside but ive been wondering how the pu would handle being outside. Do you know if anyones done outdoor experiments with it? Love that mold. Id like to use the flakes but i find you use so much more of them on the one yjing i yried them on.
Yes but it just goes grey as it’s white not clear. It’s impossible to mix black from the white. Hopefully they sullied make black soon. I usually use the polycraft one at the moment, or just use epoxy as of course black epoxy is very easy to mix
I agree with @suebee4380 I wish I could get some of those chameleon flakes. Those Timmy Turner ones are so WOW. The frog does show more blue in the daylight.
There are loads of brands that make those flakes. I know Just4YouOnline will shop them worldwide, I'm pretty sure Let's Resin do too. Not sure about Tiny Turner but worth asking
I Love him! Beautiful green and I just love frogs...
Frogs are just awesome :)
Cutie froggy 🐸❤😊
Glad you like it. Decent for a cheap mould :)
That's what I love about your channel, Tracey! Other people are doing cat, dog etc, you're doing Guinea pigs and frogs!!! Love, love, love!
Lol well you might get the odd cat thing occasionally, I love cats too, I miss mine :)
I swear you guys in the UK have a lock on the MOST beautiful flake colors! Makes me crazy, the frog is a pure knockout.
A lot of my f,Ames are Let’s Resin . Not sure what country they are? But I also use Just4youOnline and they also ship worldwide
Agreed, I'm so jealous. I've been trying to find all these flakes and colors here in the states but it's really hard or they're really pricey.
I just love watching your videos; tea and blanket. Just looooveee the colours 🤤🤤
shipping makes it cost an arm and a leg ......sigh@@miniscenesgb
@@miniscenesgb they are a Chinese brand I think

You're welcome. even those that say they are safe and have no VOCs - each part may be safe but when you put them together - maybe not so
Those flake are FABULOUS, aren't they?? 😮
Really are
Absolutely stunningly gorgeous Tracey ❤
Thanks so much 😊
I love the frog. I hope you sold him at the craft fair. He really stood out on the table. Everybody needs a showstopper and he definitely was.
No sad,y not, though he might just end up on the wall when we redecorate our bathroom 😊
I think a tumble drier sheet would work for static.
That mould is so cute, I love how he turned out.
Yes it might do - good idea :)
Beautiful Work, loving the colors! Thank you for sharing ❣️💖❣️
Glad you like it Deb :)
It's lovely Tracey, I love green so it's perfect 💚
Glad you like it 😊

It really is! And a bargain too
Very cute. I love frogs.
Me too :) Just had to get this mould
Beautiful!! 🐸!! ☺
Thanks 😄
Tracey that's a super cute mold. The color suits it. 😁 Maybe make the leaf light green and brown next time???? It turned out very cute though. 💗
I’m working on another as we speak with different colours so watch this space 😊
I LOVE the frog.
It’s a great mould 😊
Frogtastic🐸🐸🐸🐸
Lol glad you like it
The greens are a little similar but the frog is a bluer colour. Love the mold & love the results.
Yes! Thank you!
I love him!!

t's a real fun mould isn't it :)

Love the mold and it is bwhen finished
It is great for a cheap mould, I'm loving it
Very nice!
Thanks, I'm glad you like it :)
Love it❤
Great bargain mould isn't it ;)
I love the mould! And the greens are fabulous 😀 x
Thanks so much 😊 Yes it's a cheapy mould and the powders didn't break the bank either :)
I love how that frog turned out ❤ Maybe, since the two greens are so similar, adding a little yellow to the non flake powder to lighten it could help differentiate the 2? I do love those chameleon flakes ❤
Yes I the possibilities are endless and I do have over 200 colours so - watch this space :)
Thank you Tracey, love your frog x❤
Thanks :)
This is a very cute creation. I like the mold a lot.
I'm glad you like it. Yep it's a cute mould, fun to use

Interesting, I didn’t know it was cornflower. Thanks to Daniel I have a box of that. Thanks for the tip
So cute 🐸
Thanks 😊
@@miniscenesgb your welcome 🤗
Adorabe frog!!❤
Yes it’s a great mould 😊
I use eyeshadow applications for powders, it's much cleaner than a brush, making application easier!
I used to lol. Personally I prefer brushes but it depends on the mould. Largely it's personal preference
What a cute mold. Now it's up to finding different shades of the greens. Thank you Tracy for sharing.
Yep it's a fun one isn't it
Wow! That’s pretty! ❤ How about a green leaf and either an orange or blue tree frog? ❤
Great idea!!
Childproof is actually adultproof, cause children can open things we can't.
Very true lol

Your frog tray is terrific.
I use tape to pick up the extra bits.
Yes tape works well too 😊

Might be right, I’m not sure. The glass one is working out perfectly though so I’m happy
You know you can use mica s like paint by adding a bit of alcohol to the mica and have much more control of where it goes, it's also great for detail molds😊
Yes I do that in some of my videos. One to be released soon in fact 😊
I have that frog mould also in keyring / pendant size
I didn;t know they did it that small. Very cool
Now to try autum leaf with green frog... & green leaf with red frog 😊 x
Great idea!!

Hi Tracey cute mould , love hoe he turned out 😍, oh the names of the opal flakes are on the lids, thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Glad you like it Michelle. Nothing on the lids of yjose small ones
I think if you just made the lines of the leaf darker with a pen , it’s beautiful
That’s a good idea 😊

Did you sell him at you show. Your work is always so perfect 🙂
No, he might end up in our bathroom lol
🥰
Glad you like it :)
Still can’t get hold of the Let’s Resin one here in the UK. It comes up on Amazon but then says do not ship to this destination 😢
Odd, tried the website? You’d be able to use my discount code on there too
I haven't been able to find the polyurethane resin here in Canada. 😢😢
I hope you can soon. Maybe once Let’s Resin increase their range it’ll become more available

Love that mold.
Id like to use the flakes but i find you use so much more of them on the one yjing i yried them on.
No it’s no good for outside either I’m afraid. Yes I use a lot of flakes on a mould this size, o often get bigger tubs if I can
They just came out with black epoxy resin.
Yes I mention that in the video. Black epoxy is so easy to mix though. It’s black PU we need now as you can’t mix that. It’ll be great if they do
Can't you add black paste to the clear?
Yes but it just goes grey as it’s white not clear. It’s impossible to mix black from the white. Hopefully they sullied make black soon. I usually use the polycraft one at the moment, or just use epoxy as of course black epoxy is very easy to mix
Are you able to mix the black and white to make a grey?
Never mind you answer it 😊
lol :) if they were the same brand it might work, not sure. if Let's Resin make a black one someday I'll test it
