A great review,but for me personally the ship is very masculine,grey with an industrial feel. Are Scenic an expedition cruise line or luxury? I love glamour when cruising as well as adventure. If it's luxury they're after,then I would choose Silversea or Regent over Scenic. Call me old fashioned,but I love linen table cloths and plush carpet in a restaurant. It actually muffles a lot of the clattering that modern restaurants have. Just my opinion. The staff and food however look exceptional 👌🏻
Yes and I’ve done each. In my opinion this is a huge step over Silversea and Regent - those are cruise ships and this is a mega yacht. HUGE difference in both cost and huge difference in service and overall quality. RASC and SS are 5 star and great and this is 6 star on par with the Charcot.

I like Silversea a lot and was planning a Regent cruise next,but until one has experienced it,I can't really comment. It's just very masculine for my feminine mind!☺️😉 I love glamour and luxury! I'm a girlie girl 😆💋💄💃💃👗👗 TBh,when I've seen other videos,people look scruffy,especially when the staff look exquisite. Maybe because we're a mixed European family and dressing appropriately and stylishly is our thing....without sounding pretentious! 😆

Yeah you are old, I haven't seen linen in any high end restaurant here in Europe for a decade or so. People get old and they become out of touch with how things change.,

Last June 2024 I had a weeks cruise on Silver Seas, The food quality and cooking was awful. The wine Plonk. I could not compliment this ship/boat,I wasn't the only one. Never Again!
All tourist cruisers should be banned from the Antarctic - permanently. I have no idea when it's started, but that's a shame. The Antarctic was one of the very few places on Earth untouched by "tourists".
This is expeditions - zero emissions and eco conscious. What are you talking about? Large cruise ships SHOULD be banned for sure but expeditions who are eco friendly and carry scientists and expedition teams are fine. The ships are less than 200 people and have EXTREMELY strict rules.

This has been around for several years and this is not a cruise ship - this is a very luxurious expedition ship/megayacht in my experience
Its a yacht and you can charter it for around 2 million a week and you can bring 200 guest

Very nice video (16:36):.. little suggestion for the Eclipse Team: never treat Caviar with metal spoons.. for high class they should know this.
