I want to compliment the video taking here: it's well-done by someone who is clearly a real rail fan and knows what to capture. I searched RUclips for the new electric train videos and 99% of them didn't show a thing except a passenger looking out the window the whole time. Thank you for clearly touring the train and showing the braking, acceleration, layout, how the conductor interacts, and the signage. Really nice. And the HDR actually helps a lot when it comes to your bright Bay Area days!

      Stadler produces customised trains
the many noises are not heard on Kiss trains in europe
when entering the station and also when leaving, the horn is only used if someone is standing too close to the tracks, otherwise you hardly ever hear them
in your country it is obviously required by law that it is heard so often and continuously.

I’m from the east coast and I know the MBTA has had renders of these, but I don’t think they’re gonna work very well on the east coast. Hopefully we can have open gangways and more room for bikes/standing room if MBTA ever gets them.

The biggest differences I can spot are the leather seats and that the lower level is completely decked out with bike storage space (which is a big downside of the units we have here, they've got not enough capacity and have too little room for bikes).
