Playing the beta I got pretty good running at running the ball. Which is fine if you know how to run the ball you can def run the ball this year. But there are some ways to nullify the run game which I like as well, honestly my beta games I played a decent amount it was a lot of tactics. People trying to throw you off with different play types instead of running the same play over and over and over again. I’m sure some plays will get abused as always but there was only like 1 game where I had a guy just blitz every single play. He was a dirtbag too
Personally the running on 23 was WAYYYY better. They took away the effect of user hard cuts. In 23 I never used a standard Juke. I learned how to use user hard cut and it was effective. This new game needs help
I hope this game is different a lot different than the trial version because the injury setting is incredible plus a 50 overall runner can get 300 yards
Underated part of madden 24 that has made this game so much better is there are less warping into ball carriers for tackles. This makes it better to actually do juke moves this year. The tackling and running game is so much better now along with the run blocking. Same with the passing game with momentum catching and DB’s being able to swat more balls. Feels so much more realistic. So glad EA is waking up and focusing on the details of the game that matter that make it feel realistic and fun to play. Now they just need to get pass blocking and pass rushing on the same level. Along with better play calling A.I. on all Madden difficulty. They gotta figure out a way where the defense game plans for your tendencies without cheating. Right now the a.i. will 80% of the time pick the perfect play to stop your play which forces you to constantly audible. Also either takeout the pre game and halftime game-plan thing or make it extremely detailed. Picking between just short pass, medium or deep along with inside or outside run is just silly. Game planning in real life is extremely detailed based on formations and down and distance.
Yeah idk I thought this one feels great and have been having a great time on franchise. I’m usually super critical but just a few slider adjustments and this game is mint.

It’s still hard cuts it just doesn’t come up anymore
The run blocking has major upgrades now I personally don’t have a problem wit stopping the run wither
All I know is that one of every four plays there is a major injury in this game

1:51 Absolute professional defenders at the top of their craft. So many hours, an innumerable amount .. and then just juke left, and everyone is JV?!?
I just put Ball carrier on conservative anyway so I just use hard cut

Juke animations do not look right at all. They look like little skips to the side which is not a juke by any means.
I’m a stiff arm/spin move guy
The Jurdle to cutback is so dumb. Just fix user hard cut and problem solved.
