Yes! Praise Him, Brother!! Oh... Were you giving me the name of the song?? :) I like the video where I can't recall the name of IronMan. I mean, really?? I'm only 60, 'ya know? Still, the memory comes and goes. It seems to go quite often when I have the camera in front of me. :)
seen the glory of the coming of the Lord He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword His truth is marching on Glory, Glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! His truth is marching on I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps His day is marching on. Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! His day is marching on I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel "As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my grace shall deal" Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel Since God is marching on Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Since God is marching on He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment-seat Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! Be jubilant, my feet! Our God is marching on Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Our God is marching on In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free While God is marching on Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! While God is marching on
Chris; Greetings. I love the Horntrader's playing, but I've never had any of his mouthpieces. I believe they're made by Mark Curry, last I heard anyway. He uses a slightly larger diameter than I, and I haven't seen a smaller one at a great price yet. Great question!! :)
Juha; I wish I could! I've gone to a larger mouthpiece rim size and the Marc pieces I have are just a bit small for me. I played mostly the Marcinkiewicz Shew 1.5 and 1.75. Very nice pieces!! They're quite similar in diameter to a Bach 10.5 rim but with a much nicer feel. I also had a Marc Shew 1.25 and 1, but they were a bit shallow for me. Interestingly, for years Wayne Bergeron (top call commercial trumpeter in LA, you've seen him on several Oscar celebrations [if you're into the Oscars]) played pieces quite a bit like the Marc Shew 1.5, if I recall correctly. He might even have played the Shew pieces. He now plays a GR with a fractionally larger rim, but the Shew pieces by Marcinkiewiecz are great mouthpieces. They're a little smaller than the Yamaha Shew pieces, which are closer to a Bach 3 rim. Hope this helps!! :)
Juha; That mouthpiece is a bit larger than I like. I had the Shew Jazz at one point, it is very much like a Bach 3C but just a bit shallower, if I recall correctly. Nice piece though. I never have had his lead. I had a Marciniwiecz Shew 1.5 that I loved, it's smaller, more like a Bach 10.5C but quite a bit shallower. Now I play a mouthpiece right in the middle of those two for size. :)
They would probably sound darker on a flugel, because the bell is larger and it tends to not brighten up much at all. They'd sound quite nice, I'm sure.
Inspiring as always. Makes me want to pick up my horn, but it is late. Would wake my brother.
That's the worst thing about playing the trumpet... The home practice isn't often well appreciated. :) Good to hear from you!
Glory hallelujah

I have a Bach 3c F but it bites my lip
Jonathan have you played a horn trader TF mouthpiece? If so how does it compare to any of these three you demonstrated ?

Can you make video from only Marzinciez mps what you own

Can you Make review of yamaha Bobby Shew mps

I play A&S 10.5C cornet and its too small for me hard to find real good mp what fits perfect.i tired for mp safaris
I prefer flugel horn
It's nice to have a good flugel. So many of them have intonation problems that make playing a chore, though.
How would these mp sound on a flugelhorn?
They would probably sound darker on a flugel, because the bell is larger and it tends to not brighten up much at all. They'd sound quite nice, I'm sure.
