It was only one physical incident but every other incident was more emotional and mental abuse with a heavy dose of manipulation. Shawty was a doctor and was extremely smart and would cause all of these issues and then flip it and manipulate me into thinking I did something wrong. I would go crazy tryna fix the situations that she started. It was so draining and bad for my mental health. She had so many issues that she refused to go get help for and always end up reflecting her trauma on me. Literally couldn’t go a week without her conjuring stuff up in her head and causing issues then blaming me for it then I would have to be the one who smoothed things over to get us back good. This issue isn’t talked about enough how abusive a lot of women are and us men are considered soft if we take action (calling the cops/therapy etc)

This was one of them ones that I’m glad you touched on I dealt with this with my baby mother and I tried to take that route of getting a restraining order on her and everything took her to her court and the judge laughed at me and said “you really scared of her” they never want to see it from the perspective of a man trying to go about it the best way they can so they can protect themselves

Damn I felt this one my boy, I went through a similar situation but the younger me didn't know how to handle the situation and decided to defend myself... Wrong answer, several jail trips and anger management courses later I learned how to acknowledge my own emotions and walk away from a potentially volatile situation 💯 but you definitely did the right thing, on God 🙏🏾
