I’m only gonna say this once! Go get the colour grading masterclass course. It saved my butt on a recent shoot when some dummy that looks a lot like me forgot to set the WB and ended up with something the Hulk threw up all over. 😂 Seriously, Dylan is practically giving this course at the price it’s at. Elevate your colour grading game to the next level.
I'm thrilled you're loving it, Toyin! Thanks so much for saying that 😊 For anyone interested in seeing what it's about: www.fcpcolorgradingmasterclass.com
Bruh. This is one of your best yet. Had me absolutely cracking up all the way through! I knew 13/14! I didn’t know you can reset a color wheels individual controls! Absolute banger of a tip!
Ok you got me when you said Steve haha. Great video Dylan, i lost count of how many I did and didn’t know but I’ll be saving this to refer back in future when I inevitably forget some of the tips 😅
I bought colour grading masterclass course and that has been an amazing experience to learn how to color grade with my footage. Dylan has done an amazing job!🥰🥰🥰
Very well done, no wasted time and funny jokes. You didn’t even stretch it to 8 minutes for midroll ads! But in the direction YT is heading I won’t be surprised if they lower the midroll ad requirement 😂
Thanks so much! I just want to create videos that are appealing and help peeps. And if they feel that I help them enough, maybe they'll pick up my LUTs or color grading course. No need to stretch out the video for a few bucks when I don't need to 😊
Please do a part 2! And do you have a video explaining the Hue Saturation curves and the difference between the different combinations of, for example Hue vs. Hue, etc? Thanks for all your helpful and entertaining videos)))
I just released one a few hours ago, my friend! 😊 ruclips.net/video/SENOqO0JjvU/видео.html As for the color tools, you would 100% learn everything you need to know by joining the FCP Color Grading Masterclass. I'm super proud of it. If it doesn't answer your questions, I'll give you your money back: www.fcpcolorgradingmasterclass.com
Wowow I’ve been a full-time RUclipsr for 10 years and I ONLY GOT 2 POINTS! This is embarrassing! I literally shouted after the first tip, because it’s so genius. Where have I been. Thank you for this 🤝🏼
I got 3 right. I am new to FCPX. I love how your videos are always packed with information. I have been saving them in my Dylan file so I can keep watching them until I get better at editing. When I get more familiar with the software, I'll be signing up for your master class for sure. I appreciate you taking out time to make the videos with awesome examples.
I always learn a lot from you as well as @TheFinalCutBro. Your styles are more immersive. That is, if I think about learning a new language, I know I have to not only build up a vocabulary, but find ways to utilize those words, expressions, and constructs in useful ways, not just translate from English. FCP is like a new language to me and your videos are practical and build my confidence. I try to keep a list of tidbits I pick up from you all and in each new video try to utilize 1 or 2 of them. Thanks again.
Index бро! Тема, заслуживающая отдельного изучения. Спасибо, что напомнил про него. Остальные вещи тоже отличные, даже опытные юзеры найдут что-то полезное для себя.
What did you score? If you knew a tip but just forgot it, give yourself a half point 😉 Let me know if you liked this video by hitting the like button and leaving a comment!
This was a fantastic video! I've been using FCP since 2004 and only got two of them correct, which makes me a moron! Learned lots of cool stuff here--thanks!
Naaa you're not a moron at all. I think it's probably the same thing for a lot of users! There's a lot more to FCP than meets the eye. Thanks for watching! 😊
“Brilliant video! As someone who’s navigating Final Cut Pro, your tips are a game changer. Your explanations are concise and easy to follow, making complex features seem more approachable. Thanks for sharing your expertise - this is incredibly useful for both newbies and seasoned users alike!”🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow 😄 well that makes me feel real good. I'm glad my videos are coming across that way. Thanks so much for watching and letting me know they're helping!
Nobody: ... Absolutely nobody: ... Dylan: 0:40 😂 The "yeah" at the end killed me 😂 Some of them I knew them thanks to your previous videos but number 14 just blow my mind! It's so simple but I didn't know it! A great time saver! I can't wait to see the next episode! You're awesome 😍
Awesome video my man, thank you. Was wondering if you could share what the music track is used in this video?... subtle, yet rhythmic and keeps a nice ambient momentum underneath.
AWESOME video!! I'm sure this took a TON of time and effort to put together, so THANK YOU! I got like 2 of those and I've been an FCP editor for 10+ years.
Great video. Do you know how I can make sure that two texts from two different clips do not overlay but they stop automatically so that I have a nice transition? Hope I could explain what I mean :)
Thanks so much! So go to the end of this video I made and follow the instructions and you can get it set up on any key 😊 ruclips.net/video/_j1ptKs1tcA/видео.htmlsi=_xBfp6dIpxoh3DjC

Hell ya! That's what I like to hear. Thanks for watching and commenting 👊🏼
Very good tip! Too bad this 1:01 doesn't seem to work on an external screen. Is there a way of getting around it?
Thanks! Is that the right click to change to transform, crop, etc? It should work if you're using an external monitor.
Thanks! Really useful tips ✌️👊
Happy to help! 😊

Hey Dylan - Thanks for all lessons bro as always! Loving the color-grading course by the way. Been using colopro finale becuase of it and love it.
I have another topic question - Is there a way to compound a clip individually all at once? For example, organize a lot of my color-graded raw footage and it's so annoying having to compound clip each clip one by one. Hey my friend! I really appreciate that. I'm so glad you're loving the course.
Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to do that, but that would be a real nice feature.
Got it, thank you for getting back to me!
I didnt know 80% of it. That was very interesting.
Thanks for watching! 😊 glad I could teach you some new things.
