And even though I know it was only filler for the 90's anime, I was disappointed that there was also no Makaiju Tree Arc either in Crystal. In fact, it's too bad that there was no follow up of some kind regarding Eiru and Ann later on in the 90's Sailor Moon anime
I've heard that the anime staff chose to leave the generals as side villains without much going on with them and letting them all be written off at the end, despite their backstories being already thought out by the author and her allegedly wanting to do more with them. Though Nephrite's tragic redemption arc seems like a predecessor of how some of the later villains would later be expanded upon in subsequent seasons. At the very least the generals did come back and have more to offer in the PC Engine visual novel game, there are full walkthroughs of it in the site so look it up, totally worth watching. Without spoiling much, it's set in the anime continuity between both arcs of season 2.
She will make a comeback in the game "Tristania 2" as a military advisor, and a sniper. Having lost her powers, she'll use a Rail Driver to mince enemies. It's more than likely that she won't survive the events tho.

Berthier will make a comeback in the game _Tristania 2_ as a strategist. She will even be a playable character for the level "Tactical Superiority" with her own musical themes. Although she is stripped most of her powers, her imperviousness to cold is still retained, and she'll be armed with the ACP-26 Rail Driver, an extremely powerful weapon, capable of shooting thru walls and enemies. Apart from the Rail Driver, she'll also be equipped with carpet bombs, elmonite (a powerful explosive, which also can be eaten to regain lost health), and even a molecule exciter, which she can use to literally break down the molecular structure of enemies, reducing them to mere atoms. She'll begin her part of the adventure wit' full cache of ammo, however, she won't be able to replenish spent ammo because of the custom nature of her weapons. She can still collect elmonite, which'll be paramount for her level anyways. Her artwork for the "level completed" screen is already finished and is available. EDIT: Storywise, it is very likely she will die during the events, and will actually end up in Purgatory, where she will aid the protagonist one last time. She will be using her Rail Driver during this final battle.
Great job! I love the song choice and the way you blended the scenes with the song. I love Berthier, she's probably my favorite Ayakashi sister in regards to style and connection to her Senshi counterpart. I put her as tied with Petz as far as favorite.
Question: did Berthier get a pure-heart crystal after she was purified? I know she doesn't appear in Season 3, but I'm still curious. Also it'll be important.
