  • Hello, sports enthusiasts! Today, I'm sharing an epic team bonding story.
Coming off a game loss, our baseball team decided to hit the batting cages for team bonding. We went to John's Incredible Pizza for some fun before a crucial game.
Despite losing, we had a blast at the batting cages. Afterward, we headed to John's for some fun and unlimited pizza and games and rides and we made it just in time for our next game.
Despite some initial struggles - I got hit by a pitch in the leg first at bat - we managed to win 16-2! Special shoutout to our coach and teammates for this epic win.
Let's remember, sports is more about teamwork and fun than just winning. Thanks for joining this journey, and don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more team wins stories. Stay positive, play hard!

    i'm back!
so, looking at the batting cage reps, i've got some more tips:
    1) remember to say back. all of your weight is on your front side, this leads to SEVERAL problems including pulling away from the ball, upper body swings, poor batpath, etc... and fixing that leads to much better swings. again, your stride is just like dipping your foot into the pool.
    2) get closer to the plate. i know that the inside pitch sucks, i hate it too, but especially at your age it is CRUCIAL to be able to hit the outside part of the zone, as the strike zone is much wider. at 1:18, you totally whiffed on a ball that was over the plate. get closer. you see MLB players in the middle of the box all the time, but their strike zone has a lot less outside.
    3) get farther back in the box. ideal placement would be to put your left foot just about on the line and around the middle of the plate. your stride shouldn't take you to the edge of the batters' box.
these are some things that take a lot of getting used to, so instead of jumping straight to standing on the line, work your way up. take more reps, and make them quality. always practice with intent.
