      She is having a pretty good year so far, if we ignore the disappointing clay court season which is her weakest surface. Later she found her dominant self during the grass court swing and continuing her good form here.

    The ball from Ostapenko at 4:32 was out, you can clearly see it with 0.25 playback speed. I am surprised the umpire did not see that.

      ATP is so consistent with their uploads that there shouldn't even be a comparison with the WTA at this point. Also, WTA keeps on changing the duration of the highlights.

    I’m a big fan of Kerber. I like Ostapenko little bit but she seems to be a sore loser at times. I’m one thing I’ll say about Kerber, at the age of 33 she has the best and most powerful legs of any tennis player, she put the young ones to shame.

And second, i agree that we don't need a monster serve in wta matches, but we should serve it in a very best way to take the advantages. Ostapenko really took many opportunities from kerber serves

    Angie is one of the fittest player on tour. She has been there for quite a long time but I can't recall any major injury sustained by her during the professional career, clearly she has a best schedule or maybe training out there.

    Watching Jelena is sooo painful. She is a first class ball striker but she runs so hot and cold, and the serve goes through terrible patches. She refuses in cutting the unforced errors out of her game. U can't win at this level giving up that many free points

    Angie weak server could be ended her participation in this tour if Ostapenko wasn't an unforced error machine but in the 1st set was a suffering for Kerber hold.

      Or maybe Ostapenko shouldn't have lost focus after the 1st set? Kerber displayed amazing mental strength and played brilliantly under pressure. Also, there is no place for "could've, would've, should've" in sports, especially in tennis.
