- Malaba and Lukolis Market are located in BUSIA COUNTY. BUSIA County is less developed compared to Kakamega county despite both counties having same governors for ten years. Kakamega seems to have utilized county funds well, but Busia seems to have mismanaged its resources.

Legrand thanks for the highlights. I come from Busia county and my heart bleeds when I see this. It's sad that Busia still ranks among the bottom five poor counties in Kenya. Hope my Busians will see this and really rethink their political choices and/or hold their leaders accountable. Infact am told the (as of the date when you were doing this) has investments in South Africa! Like seriously! Why should he loot us to go invest and boost another country's economy?
