TY for sharing! I've seen these and have wanted to try one but like you not sure I need another rabbit hole to fall into, plus I don't know where I would put them in my house!!! I love minitures and love the crochet, sink and lamps you made for it and added your own wallpapers!! I think your right about the scale, but I love what you did! It looks fantastic!! Love it!! Can't wait to see the next one and all the custom stuff you make to the sewing room!! XO
"Serious tripping hazard" referring to the coffee table legs that made me lol. This was so much fun to watch and you are so creative! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing I just got this kit and I'm having some serious issues it's my first one lol I can not figure out the couch to save my life but I enjoyed very much and all your personal touches 😊
I love this, thanks for sharing. I have only done some collecting to start doing miniatures. like you I know I would love it. glad you were brave and jumped in! !
My husband an I did a Victorian dollhouse for our granddaughters it’s been handed down through all three! I loved making it so much this bring back fun memories! Loved the video!!!
I hope you continue to share!! I really enjoyed this. This made me remember a kit I saw at my local craft store a while ago. I think I might just have to go pick one up.
A woman of all traits 🥰. Anything you put your hand on comes out absolutely perfect. I love everything miniature so I'm totally in love with these projects. Completely obsessed 😍😍😍😍😍. Can't wait to see the result of the new one. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
This is what I love most about you. You do E V E R Y T H I N G!!! You’re a creator, a maker, a full blown artist. I was hoping you would make a video of this miniature house. It reminds me of Animal Crossing. My son plays it and I have to sit next to him when he plays so I can give him ideas or help him search things, etc. I don’t play because I could never coordinate my thumbs to push those buttons. But I can certainly make one of these miniatures. I’ve seen some a couple of years ago that were inside little tin boxes. They were being advertised either on Pinterest or IG, can’t remember where. Those were absolutely insanely detailed. Some were like garden corners. Anyways, I’m glad to hear these can be found at Hobby Lobby. Always a pleasure seeing what you’re up to in your studio.
My villagers in Animal Crossing aren't going to recognize me when I get back to Melkiki. I haven't been there since October! 😏 My daughter has one of the tiny ones in a tin. It's so small! I think she's almost ready to glue everything together, but she couldn't find the correct batteries and got frustrated. Sounds like something I'd do.
@@MelanieSullivan oooo, I love the name of your island. Our island’s name is Macando. Maybe y’all should exchange dodo codes and visit. A couple of days ago he was desperate to get himself the Royal Crown. Two days in a row he time traveled to find it in Abel sisters shop. In the end we went on Nookazon and bought it from someone who was selling it. Since then it’s been a never ending Bazaar meet. My favorite part is when the sellers who are inviting him to their island for the transactions are also giving a tour of the island. It is absolutely amazing how some islands are decorated and arranged. I’m glad I don’t know how to play because I would certainly get addicted really fast.
I enjoyed this and would like to see the next kit being assembled. If you can film the entire assembly I definitely would watch it. I found the cutest little kits on Amazon that are in a tin can type of thing but only 6inches by 4 inches approx. There are different themes, such as a forest, for your choice.
@@MelanieSullivan When you said you will only start the next one when you're finished the first, I thought of all my knitting projects. I don't have too many compared to other ppl, but it feels better when they're completed.
My cousin got hooked on dollhouses, she became obsessed. She was always looking for bits to customize her houses, we'd go to garage sales and thrift stores looking for bits. Each house was a masterpiece. You are great with tiny pieces! Your house looks lovely but I do think that sofa is not to scale, it just looks too big to me. I'd have to take those wonky legs off the coffee table and put a more sturdy base on it, lol, afraid someone would trip on the legs.
I think a full scale (that's 1:12, right?) would be fun because you'd have so many more options! FYI, I subbed to your channel and can't wait to watch. Take care!
I think these kits come with everything in the pictures, furniture, fabric, lights, even glue and tools for assembly. But people will kit-bash and use their own wallpapers or fabrics, add things, leave things out, to suit their taste

Quake Hold and Museum Wax are great to secure things down without gluing them.

I always loved dollhouses as a child. How fun to do one with your husband!

It really was fun to assemble and customize.
This was so neat to watch. I love watching your videos. Could you do a video of you making your own things to make it your own creation.

Wow, thank you!
Your attention to detail is Amazing and I really like your little Loft house.
Thank you! Cheers!
I'm getting into mintures as well. I do love it. I'm currently working on a 1:24 scale doll house.
This scale fits the larger polly pocket!
You’re doing a great job! I’m too shaky for little details like that.❤️

Wow, I have a newly acquired curio cabinet where these miniatures would look great. ❤️
I see what you did there. Clever. I'll get it after I break the news to Sean.
