I actually think it would be a BIG mistake to trade Gus. So you would go into next year with a goalie (i.e. Fluery) in the last year of his career and an unproven Rookie? What if they both stink? Now you've harmed the development of your "goalie of the future" AND Fluery's gone at the end of the year! I'd keep all three and simmer Wallstadt in the minors......giving him games here and there.....feeling it out.......and possibly making an "in-season" trade of Gus if there's league-wide goalie injuries.....to get leverage. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Gus and Wallstadt as the tandem for the 25-26 season.......which was the original plan.

Guerin knows 2024-25 is a worthless throw away season so it doesn't matter who's in net. Plus Guerin's wife and Flower's wife are best friends.
