Hi Michael. Thanks a ton for making this follow up video. I appreciate you taking the time to share your impartial critique, experiences with different mobility solutions, and tip about using the MagSafe block.

You are welcome! The mage safe and leveling wheels are not original ideas. I’m just passing the knowledge on! Thanks for watching!

Thank you for the video! I just received the FS41c. Still on a pallet. I’m looking to put this on some casters. I see in a previous comment that you purchased on Amazon. Which ones did you purchase exactly? Are you happy with them? Would you rather have the ratcheting style? What size stem caster did you buy….both the rated weight and the size of the stem/screw?

The ones I purchased initially broke what turned out to be a nut welded to the base of the machine ( not a good solution in my opinion). I ended up attaching the casters to a 3/4" plywood base ( I doubled it) then setting the machine on top of that. If did not already have the ones with the stem, would have purchase these instead. Thanks for watching! This is an affiliate link. you don't pay anything extra, but it helps me out.

Thank you for your quick reply! I like the idea of the doubled up plywood as a base. Do you find it to now be too tall with 1 1/2” of plywood and a few inches of casters, though?

@@shootershadoan6330 I’m 5’11” and find it to be ideal for both jointing and planing.

Thank you very much! I’m the same height so I will look into doing the same!
      Happy New Year!

A segmented feed roller would be the biggest improvement SCM could make with these machines.

Their not self leveling. Leveling is done manually. I got them on Amazon. Thanks for watching!
