The overabundance of fnaf lore kinda muddies down the fear factor, they try to overexplain everything and that just takes away the suspence and mystery.
While I don't think FNAF needs to be absolutely graphic in detail, the series must still remember the dark aspects that lie within the story's roots and how dark it is looking back on it now.
I wasn’t expecting much horror if at all from the FNaF movie but I still didn’t enjoy it. Not even Living Tombstone in the credits did anything for me. While I didn’t expect horror, it definitely should have had it. FNaF I general needs to return to its roots. It has gotten ridiculous now.

As a kid I always associated fnaf’s horror with the atmosphere and uncannyness of the characters.

i think the fnaf 4 animatronics would be more scary if it was the fnaf 1 crew but distorced, demented, and corrupted, with organic features

it should’ve. the games were too big to end so the next games should’ve been a completely disconnected story

the games were barely scary after two-three jumpscares in the face people insisting how such game are scary are not mature in their mentalities.
Subject matter and atmosphere can still make a game scary. And you’d be lying if an unexpected jumpscare wouldn’t get you right now
