This was the most lucid explanation of the topic, you elucidated all the details beautifully. Every other tutorial on the RUclips just touches the surface and one never actually benefits from such tutorials in the long run. You are an amazing teacher. Amazing work.
Yes truly, and the standard is also very high because it’s coming directly from someone whose job is at GitHub Actions. I just watched the first two videos today and I am gonna finish the whole series. This is indeed gold standard.
this is indeed a great content, recently I moved to new Org and they are using the Github actions and I have to study this asap, this tutorial seems to be very help in my learning. Thanks a lot.
Thank you for this video as well the previous. I intend to work through each of them as a great overview / refresher. Your clear explanations demonstrate mastery over time, which is something missing from a lot of tutorials / examples. Please keep up the good work! I will refer others to your material!
Thank you for your support 🙇♂️ I would love to do more but GitLab is already covered extensively already and I don’t think I can bring any value there, check out Nana’s courses on that topic: ruclips.net/video/qP8kir2GUgo/видео.html
@@glich.stream that is ur thinking brother dat u cant do well but i know how much u can do well this is my first time i saw ur videos m getting n learning a lot from u about the GitHub actions
why cant we run the checks directly after the approval is done and the code is merged into main branch, because before raising the PR the devlpr will take a pull of the master right
Does it makes sense to use github action and argo workflow? We use github action and argoCD. Since, github action is a complete platform with action, workflow, events etc. So trying to understand the pros and cons of using both as complimentary products.

38:40 another hint for node pipelines: using npm ci instead of npm install 🙂
yep, that's a good optimisation to make
very nice!! Excellent
Lovely explanation. Just wondering what software you used to illustrate your workflow - i.e. the whiteboard one.
I was using Notability on iPad and then I switched to Concepts because it has an infinite canvas!
excellent!!!!
Thanks for the tutorial. What is the name of the keyboard that can be seen around 1:45?
Keychron K6
Thanks so much
Thank you 🙏🏼
Thanks habibi
very usefull
why cant we run the checks directly after the approval is done and the code is merged into main branch, because before raising the PR the devlpr will take a pull of the master right
Cause the main branch might have changed then. Other people are merging stuff too
When I am trying to do some changes into users.js and creating pull requests it closes itself.
Fork the repo!!

They’re definitely not mutually exclusive. Plenty of companies use GitHub Actions for many of their workflows in parallel to argoCD or Flux
the integration team basically is paid to suffer merging the code that is not written by them
its outdated and doesn't work
excellent!!!!
