    This was the most lucid explanation of the topic, you elucidated all the details beautifully. Every other tutorial on the RUclips just touches the surface and one never actually benefits from such tutorials in the long run. You are an amazing teacher. Amazing work.

      Yes truly, and the standard is also very high because it’s coming directly from someone whose job is at GitHub Actions. I just watched the first two videos today and I am gonna finish the whole series. This is indeed gold standard.

    Thank you for this video as well the previous. I intend to work through each of them as a great overview / refresher. Your clear explanations demonstrate mastery over time, which is something missing from a lot of tutorials / examples. Please keep up the good work! I will refer others to your material!

    Does it makes sense to use github action and argo workflow? We use github action and argoCD. Since, github action is a complete platform with action, workflow, events etc. So trying to understand the pros and cons of using both as complimentary products.

    • @glich.stream
      @glich.stream  Год назад

      They’re definitely not mutually exclusive. Plenty of companies use GitHub Actions for many of their workflows in parallel to argoCD or Flux

    why cant we run the checks directly after the approval is done and the code is merged into main branch, because before raising the PR the devlpr will take a pull of the master right

    • @glich.stream
      @glich.stream  9 месяцев назад

      Cause the main branch might have changed then. Other people are merging stuff too
