It wasn't on Fox News, the national news channel, it was on a local affiliate because the story has basically not risen above the local level. And one has to wonder why. And what I said is certainly true; violence directed against conservatives or Republicans doesn't tend to get covered by the mainstream media in the same way. And the fact that I'm questioning why the media is being apathetic to this tragic story is completely reasonable and in no way, shape or form shows a lack of sympathy for the family or indicates that I wasn't praying for the victim or the family, quite opposite! It means I think it was tragic and that it merits greater coverage and scrutiny from the media, rather than being ignored!

It definitely seems like she was targeted. A young, pretty woman in a position of power may have angered someone unknowingly. People get killed for a lot less these days. It's possible she rejected the affection of a lunatic who felt she thought she was ' all that ', and jealousy fueled outrage. She was 30 years old and a successful black woman, but she may have found out something dishonest going on and was silenced. The killer was waiting for her. The car rolled and crashed into the Mercedes, so I wonder if she was shot with the car still running. Ambushed, but by who and why? There are so many possible scenarios it may remain a mystery.

She had only been married 6 months ago and from all accounts very happy in love with her new husband. They were both well respected pastors of a church.

I regret to say that I've not had the pleasure of knowing about this Congresswoman before, but it's nevertheless tragic that she passed away in such a dreadful manner, & from all accounts, she seems to have been a very kind, goodhearted, hardworking, strong, dedicated, accomplished person. Come to think of it, those descriptions of Rep. Dwoufour bring to mind the late Leo Ryan & the recently-retired Jackie Speier, both Democratic representatives from California. :-)

Political assassination has been going on since the beginning of time. Nothing new here
People have been saying that for centuries, but each time has amounted to nothing more than a false alarm. Even I once thought the world was going to end. I was sucked into the JVI rabbit hole and thought the world would end between 2001 and 2012. Well JVI is dead and 2012 is ancient history and we're still here.
I do, however, believe the world will eventually end for the human race as we know it as it seems to have an ultimate goal of destroying itself. And with Putin threating nuclear war and the ongoing threat of WWIII, I believe that will eventually happen and maybe in our lifetime. Unfortunately, I don't think there will be some magic superior deity to swoop down and save us just in time. We will all suffer. It's a shame, but that seems to be what so many idiotic people want.

People have been shooting, and killing office holders for years. I remember way back in 1980 when Vernon Jordan (Clinton's advisor/ buddy, and fellow woman chasing friend, was nearly assassinated by, klan member Paul Franklyn (and was acquitted by an all-white jury, but was later put to death for killing someone else ), which was 42 years ago, and world is still here.

Check her phone, text messages, emails to see if she was warned or getting death threats prior to the incident. Also check ex boyfriends for good measure. Maybe she stood for something somebody strongly opposed. Either way i hope they find who did it.
