Messed up the titling from 0:12 onwards - It's the other way around!

Interesting comparison. I tend to feel I get more control in Element than in C4D - as its much easier to tweak the final result and of course it renders fast.
While C4D arguably looks better, this is a full screen, slow beauty shot, so I'm not suprised by that. I would imagine Element was a faster compositing, animating and rendering process compared to C4D, but was it?

@@ShiveringCactus Thank you! Yes, Element 3D was indeed quicker. The render time alone from C4D was about 25 minutes at 4K res whilst E3D is practically live rendering. The only thing I would have added (as E3D doesn't actually produce any shadows when using a HDRI map just AO) so I should have added a light from the top pointing at the Helicopter to generate the shadows of the screws onto the ground. C4D does keep up with the compositing speed though when using the ACES workflow, especially because Redshift & After Effects recently completely integrated OpenColorIO colour management. If only they released an update for Element 3D...Maybe one day :)

E3D is perfect. And all the lighting can be tweaked to mimic the raytracing....I use redshift but...clients doesn't care if it is in time...
