Hey Thelma. I hope you're well friend. I don't know how well trees would survive there. I'm sure they could put in palm trees, but they really don't provide much shade. I have visited friends very in the summer and yes, it is hot in the sun. Fortunately most of the RVs have pull out awnings at this point. I hope you're having a great day, friend.

Morning! I hope you're doing well friend. Calmer water means less wind which means more mosquitoes. I got attacked last night doing curbside at Walmart. They were thick. Pretty good breeze today, but they are about.
@antiquingadventures I haven't been bothered that much yet this year but I guess that little bit of rain we got brought out. Walmart curbside area is pitch dark. A lot of their lights aren't working over there so I was getting swarmed and didn't know it until I started getting stung.
Woke up yesterday to sun shine as well as today. Yesterday got some mosquitoes spray and sprayed the yard but I think they are to used to it. Got the eye doctor out of the way for awhile as no real changes. Looked like to me that the bubbles of the white caps were on the beach and a lot of them. So kind of that gentleman to go around and pick up the trash off the beach. Too much trash is going into our water ways due to lazy non respective people. I have that same problem as people thro there trash in the ditches out front. Enjoyed seeing the ship and watching. Have a great hump day.

Hi, Dennis. Thank you very much for the trip to Port Aransas beach. Great seeing the IB Magee park office building finished! BH (Before Harvey) it was the hub for the RV park, with showers and rest rooms, laundry room, lounge with wifi, and a wall of notices, useful local stuff, and nature facts. Plus a 2nd floor balcony and 3rd floor observation deck. The office even had a small store that sold beach towels, boogie boards, and necessities like sunscreen. Can't tell how much of that has been restored. When I stayed there, doing laundry was a pleasant experience, with a choice of hanging out on the balcony watching the waves and birds, or sitting in the lounge with my laptop. The location is magical, tucked away behind the dunes, between the jetty and the pier. I hope your viewers with an RV have a chance to come to Port A and enjoy IB Magee for themselves. And I hope you're having a good week.

make sure you wash underside of vehicle often..... that salt fog ruins everything metal.....i lived there for many years, hurricanes drove me out
