PMJM FAIL TO ANSWER THE VERY IMPORTANT DIRECT QUESTION FROM BN.
😢😢😢 civil unrest is inevitable, I would take up arms to defend what is rightfully mine and I mean mine..
Opposition leader is only questioning the process. Not the value of the the initiative taken by the current government towards downstream processing. PM is only giving a Political Speech. Not answering the questions raised. Not satisfied with the answer.
At last, someone is taking the bold step in doing this. Way to go BM for your questions and PMJM for clarifying it.
Thank you for more elaboration.
You are doing the most relevent sentiment as you continue in you concept.
We Appreciate you.
The company should register it's business in PNG. Why Singapore???
BN the true hero of this Nation (PNG),,🇵🇬
Thank you Hon. BELDEN NAMAH for considering to take the matter to court.
Thank you Mr Prime Minister. It's about time we know how much gold we produce in Papua New Guinea before we export.
Weve got to start somewhere. Great concept PM! And perfect questions BN. This should not be about which side of the house ones in, rather all leaders should perceive it based on benefits vs risks and help convert this concepts into tangible infrustructures aimed at positively and meaningfully benefit our nation and people.
Shame on Lihir for not paying corporate tax! Lihir produced its first gold bar in the year 1997, shame on you! The millions that pour in his personal coffer every single fiscal year, regardless of whether the mine performs or underperforms, underpins Sandeep Biswas' greed. Do the right thing and pay up. The national employees are underpaid (huge cost-saving), Lihir has a wharf (huge cost-saving when compared to an inland mine like Porgera).... so there is no excuse... pay up!
PM is blind and pointless....Lihir has been paying taxes as per records
Mr.Namah, you are great man, thanks for returning to your opposition bench.
Good job by BN with Questions and statements for accountability and transparency. Excellent wisdom, planning and actions by PMJM for a truly strategic project for PNG that’s been long overdue. Every PNGns must support such concepts.
Good question BN, you're the only voice for the people of Papua New Guinea.
Mr prime minister I live in wau morobe province and I fully support you;about time we know how many gold bars going out ;since 1907.
Did u understand the question put forth by Hon Belden Namah? The PM has just bulldozed the Bill to allow a foreign own and operated company to mint gold at the expense of the livelihood of alluvial gold miners and land owners of gold mines who will be subject to deprivation of their resources.
did marape pay u?
😂
A resounding Amen
Good one Honourable Belden Namah for challenging that Act.
Belden Namah should ask PM to publicly outlined the SHARE HOLDER BILL with the gold refinery in the floor of parliament for all to hear....Maski praising PM nating sapos upla no save gut about the deal...It's an unfair bill to our economy🤦♂️🇵🇬👎🏼
good concept!
I'd like to really sight the contracted document. I think PM's idea is straightforward and that is something I have been always thinking about.
Thank PM JM. God Enlighten you gracefully.
Thank you Hon Opposition Leader BN for your articulate questions.
It sounds good but the conditions under which this agreement is to be signed is doubtful to me the Indians
Thank you pmpo
Top leader
Thank you Hon.Belden Norman Namah for asking the most important question to the PM James Marape regarding this Gold Refinery you have also stated in your question regarding the small alluvial miners in PNG. What will this refinery will benefits the Small Alluvial Miners? Also good point of order from former PM Peter O'Neil.
Downstream processing means more more money more jobs.
Can the parliament introduce PowerPoint Presentation for the our ministers are getting to by Thier Advisers.
Great plan PM. But If the Prime minister say it's a public interest, can we have a public view and vote on this project? I believed we have PNG Native expects who can freely give some good explainations and advises. Also, a debate by the Prime minister and the opposition leader would be of great interest of PNG.
Perfectly said Mr O'Neil
Very good idea from the government and very good question from the opposition, clearing the clouds 🦾👍
Can the PM disclose the content of the Contracts and the Policies and the Bill before speaking.
Yes, PM this is excellent, beat not always exporting row out gold👍👍🙏🙏👍
Why do we even need a foreign company to build a gold refinary??? Can't we do it ourselves??
Thank you member for your surport for this enqiriery to be investigated
We already have a Precious Metal Refinery in PNG (Metal Refining Operation) refining gold and silver to 99.99% pure. Why not fund it and get it up and running instead of creating a new one.
Jst imagine O'Neil-Namah Government. M ba orait too ya.
I don't disagree with the idea but the terms under this agreement need to be changed.
What a wonderful and great designs 👏
It's not good for PNG....giving gold rights to a foreign company based in Singapore...It's like killing PNG
Downstream processing a way to go MRDC should spearhead and build a gold processing PNG owned refinery as a SOE by now PNGns experts should be cmg back from training overseas to manage these processes the government is embarking on??we need team leaders..wokman pulap lo street painim wok stap plis oh PM na umi daonim unemployment..putim png made stamp lo gold fish timber oil gas na igo..em no gud ahh??...I DECLARE THE WHOLE COUNTRY of PNG AS A SEZ(Special Economic Zone) Let's take initiative & build our young nation from our own resources..Get the buyers come knocking on our doors for the selling price
Good one my powerful leader tell him to think about of what he says to the people of png, let's be transparent
Thank you PM. The Golds of Papua New Guinea must be clearly stamped before it leaves the country...
We have given enough without knowing how much we have given..
We have three arms of Government, the Legislature, the Judiciary and another third one which I can't recall but really it exist.
I therefore call on all opposition members including all Government MPS to oppose that Bill.
Secondly use our Judicial system to review the bill and if it's not in the best interest if our country, it must be overthrown.
Involving Judicial system will incur a cost, if that is the case all members of Parliament forefit your DSIP including PSIP project money to foot the bill to overthrow that bill.
In a long run it will safeguard us and the Nation's future.
POLICIES of that foreign company must be reviewed and I believe it will cause problem in later years.
Good
Sounds genuine and transparency.
What's wrong with the Justice System of PNG?😢
The conditions needs to be reviewed
It's good some one like Mr belden nama high lights that very important for citizen's to know that because we will soon lose our value as an country
Love your wisdom Hon PM James Marape. What a great move for the best of PNG❤️👍
Simply give approval to Kumul Mineral Ltd to take carriage of Gold Refinery and Mint. Don't bring it outside proponents.
I thought human resource is the greatest resource of any nation. But apparently, it's gold for PNG.
Bro great comment
Has anyone seen and read the actual contract? Has that contract being made public for the interest of every citizen to read and understand what their leaders are signing on their behalf?
Beautiful
You are the one 😂😂❤❤
Good on you PMJM and OPLBN way to go 👍🙏💙👍🙏💙🇵🇬
The Company should be the PNG government company Just like Kumul Petroleum Holdings. otherwise, these greedy politicians will be the owners of the company.
The thing i still dont understand is, we have gold, oil, copper, nickel mines in the countryand yet our country is not developing?? How is that possible, in which Dubai has only oil, and in a span of 6-7 years the place has changed????
💪🏾✌
Why didn't we check the amount of gold that was taken by the successive gold companies?
👌👌👌👌👌🙏🌟
Powerful leader
In the point. Great job PMJM
With you PM
PM has not given Papua New Guineans the opportunity to invest in refining gold in PNG.
Ol kaikai man kam na PM tok yes, what a joke.
JM .YOU TALK TALK TALLK SMART BUT YOU ABOLUTELY DONE NOTHING FOR THE PNG CITYZEN TO WITNESS. EVERY DEVELOPMENT YOU SEE AROUND IS BY PETER O NEIL. INO YOU JM. SEM BLO YU. MVON TUMAS NA NOGAT WOK
I think that's a good idea
Sharp Mr. PM!
With you!
Checkim share blong PM JM, Treasury Minister ILS and PANGU Party.
Truly PNG man is doing good as PNGans, wondering if Nama is not desperately serving some foreigners interest.
You right😅😅
Awesome PMJM
The dislike and hatred to the former government is still high
Opp. Leader Hon Nama articulated very well a legit question. PM answered very well n hopefully it goes thru our policy processes and embraces national interests as much as possible. Fmr pm PO came out shallow n emotional!. Newcrest is making bonaza money in here n they should respect and thank our jurisdiction which enables them. PO should represent Ialibuans not Newcrest.. Past PMs including him eighter were overwhelmed into feebleness or were just dumbstruck n in-pocket to not even consider doing something in this space. Marape has done the New Porgera, i am sure this will come off ok too ... option for PNG to own gold bars in central bank becomes real. This adds value to economy!!.
Have some balls and Open up new value horizons. !!!!
Gold refinery processing is the best idea ever.
Thanks PM JM...
May this idea be fulfilled under your leadership.
God is with you. 🙏
Noken traim PO lo question ya pls upla no fit lo em ya 😂😂😂😂
the priminister didn't answer the questions from BN.
Better to tender project in Public, make proper evaluation then award. Rather than taking on individual Investors making proposals, without considering other Bidders.
Right Peter O'Neil 👍
Yes, PJM I think u should be thinking like how other like minded leaders ,,, especially leaders like BN, PO ,,,we want ownership and think about our countrys economy stop con deals and suffering us ,,,is your policy take back png is ineffective be serious PNG is watching you..
Be good to know who exactly will own the gold? Who are partnering with this foreign company? By the way, can we also change the ownership laws that govern the extraction of our raw materials? PNG held only 12percent when BHP was mining Mt Fubilan. Ramu Nickle is solely owned by the Chinese. Before we jump ahead to refining, can we at least own what we can refine??
Yes you getting to the point Mr. PM .
We have are not afraid to do Gold, stop mumbles get to point.
We can do the Gold 1000% PNG own nd operate.
Why involved external bloody foreign paper company.
POWERFUL JUSTIFICATION BY PMJM..PLS GO AHEAD.
Hon: Prime Minister James Marape. God Bless you 🙏🙏🙏
Bullshit 😂😂
How far have you gone into achieving downstream processing Mr. Prime Minister,,,inap lo giamanim ol' manmeri blo PNG,,mipla

James Marape na Rainbow Paita yutla kwap
James nomane
That's it! Hon. PM James Marape🤝
Questions not clearly answered.....selling is not exactly exporting.....you can refine gold and still sell it in the country instead of exporting it, the price per tonne or per bar 100% determined by the owner and not standard deviating market price.......or in other words....lets say google price may be false value.....never trust offshore valuation methods
