- East Sepik Governor Hon. Allan Bird raised a question without notice to Prime Minister Hon. James Marape with regards to employment situation within the country.
Allan bird you the men
Good one hon: peter O'Neill.
It's good these questions are asked to make things happen. Unlike some MPs who are just there for entertainment and laughing their asses off without contributing ideas to the floor of parliament.
Very entertaining!😀 I have had some good discussions with Governor Bird. My impression of him is that he is a very honorable and well thought out person. He thinks logically and I have always valued his opinion because I think it is an educated one. He gives me hope for the future of this Nation. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to his very valid questions. I would like to know the answer to that as well. I hope he continues to debate freely in this way. As a born Sepik I am proud to have him represent the East Sepik. Good on you!😀
P
Good Question for Hon. Bird to Marape 😊
PNG is a Christian country , only honest person can run the country smoothly, my blood AB I trust you, don't give up be confident it's your turn🙏🙏🙏..
As a simple low income earner the only thing I know that the price of goods in the shops are increasing, does the government have any idea to solve that?
The goal of 1 million by 2027 (what is the strategy - what are the phases of implementation, which area, and can this be evaluated thus far). MSME is one area to get to this goal of 1 million jobs but how many have been created now and have succeeded. SMEs have had barriers to source financial assistance to kick-start their entrepreneurship so really, this area is struggling and has not created jobs as anticipated. Few survived and most nascent. What are other areas? i.e. New Pogera, Wafi Glopu, Newmont, Semberi, what about other industries, for example, agriculture, fisheries, logging, manufacturing, etc. There must be a strategy to back the vision mission of 1 million jobs and this needs to be spelled out in a strategic projected report, and documented to all parties so every stakeholder can work to see this fruition.
Hon Peter O'Neil has done so many developments during his term as the Prime Minister. We hardly see James Marape doing anything.
You're correct
100%
Thank you Allan Bird for good concerned raising questions which current affairs today many of us Papua New Guinea encountered. I appreciate you you for that.
Me wanbel wantaim defination blo wok as described by PM Marape. "Economically active and engaed Papua New Guineans; Not sitting behind a job from 8:00am to 4:06pm. That strategy has not unbundlled Papua New Guineans from it's fullest potential."
You all should leave your status and come down leave with the people. Lusim office na come out mekim wok. Yupla lukim pinis failure stap lo field operation. Lusim office na yupla sanap lo field. Policy full up na field work em nogat yet.
Meanwhile, MP for Wapenamanda just woke up from slumber 😂😂😅
😂😅😅
The citizens must also play their part. As the government provides this assistance in second chance education, SME interventions etc...Let's all make use of this, rather then relaying to much on desk jobs..True
Citizens must strive for their own excellence and prosperity in their livelihood rather than waiting for the government to spoon feed...
Has any university student drop out able to start an SME with zero starting capital?
Getting an SME loan requires the person to have some down payment in order to borrow. How is this the solution?
@@BeeM25-yc6liCome on bro, you don't need a SME Loan to start a small business. Using our initives, May be start of wantaim 5o Kina lo salim Hamas drink or buai, and build from their..SIMPLE
Big Bird. Very Intelligent cat. Talks and articulates very nicely.
PO still living rent free in Marape's head😂😂😂😂
Money and power hungry leaders from highlands.
By far this is the most entertaining scene! 😅
Tari people are asking for developments Mr Marape
Hounable JM is the PM of PNG and not Tari Poli. They leaders at district level to develop thier place.
Good one Peter O'Neal...
Create more jobs opportunities inorder to reduce crime related issues in our country. Great question Mr Bird. ✌️

Thank you....
PM, please try to be sensible already.
Hon Governor would have directed those questions without Notice to the Minister for Lambour and Employment.
Good questions by Governor AB
Don Polye...what a same...you should sit down and shut your mouth in shame...the question was very clear...as a Papua New Guinean, it was PJM who said that he will create 1million jobs in his first speech resuming parliament as a PM. .. Now where is or where are those 1million jobs...PJM don't know how to answer his own words..
We need the right kind of leader to lead this country. So far, I see nothing in the house.
Governor AB you right
Blame game all the time 😢
Time to change the Prime Minister, Marape Roso,Government has failed to lead the Country to its Destination, thank God, we need real Leadership.
All because of Dinau! Dinau Mahn JM.
Mr. Allen Bird for PM post period.
Parliment must proceed with VONC, mr speaker
Downstream processing and agriculture can create jobs for the vast majority of the country's population primary engaged in rural based subsistence farming.
How many youths Mr Prime Minister have they called you so far and how many do you employ? PMPO
It's not about excitement. It's about people. There is a huge gap in unemployment. Fix this problem. It is already leading to sociio_economic problem
While the PM speaks nonsense the very first person to smile is the minister of finance. He is now labelled as a laughing stock!
Governor Bird asks great questions, however, too generic but it kept the PM off his seat to work of Job creation. PMs job creation definition is economic empowerment via local grassroots level but PM also need to consider universities and colleges graduates.
Answer the question.
Alan bird for PM make it viral ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Out of orders are truth over lirs
PMJM you should speak sense
Peter onil you are a good leader at least you work yaa...JM where??
I have been listening to down stream processing for infinity. How many more centuries before we start seeing actual down stream processing for all are primary products 😢😢😢
Ranbo Paita you are at the back saying em tasol², your people (voters) in Fincherfen (Pindiu) are suffering from tribal fight since last year. When are you going to do something about it? They've trusted and voted you.

PM,James Marape has been traveling too much and never settled that major issues of our country, he has been on holiday too much,We the Citizens of this country blame this Tari man for all the issues of this country, Plis now time to change Power ,😭😭😭
The question was a clear question why talk about 300 million Coacoa project...when we start to point fingers back that tells us we are already guilty.
Good Question...
PM JM nails it❤.
PM must know everything happening in the country
WHY IS HE TALKING BOUT SME? IS A BIG SCHEM, OL KAIKAI OLGETA MONI BLO SME STA YAA
People shouting shut Up to Don Poyle haha
What is MP for Wapenamanda trying to say in his broken english? Ol lain plis makim ol lida igat save, ino money!!
Well said Member for Ialibu Pangia P O. PM beating around the bush..no statistics and plan..
Exactly 💯.
Thank you Mr Don for the Clarification.
Ask the questtions to appropriate Minister Responsible. It seems all opposition members have a hateful tone to the Office of Prime Minister. That's just bad. If you really fight for the Country as a whole, than act responsibly and ask appropriate questions to appropriate Ministeries to get the questions answered properly.
PMJM can always refer the questions to the relevant minister to answer if he is unable to provide the answers. We all want to know, as we are producing about 70000 school leavers ever year n this is a very serious issue. I suggest any Government must put in place drastic n effective policies to cut down population growth n provide enabling environment for businesses n investment to grow to reduce unemployment
As Prime Minister you should know what is happening in your country. The total population of this nation, the total unemployed citizens, the total employ citizens and so on. It seems that MPs forming government are not working together.
Late Coment but i notice something that is very strange but think all u had noticed but don't think much about' .I saw our PM keep on SMILING' .On national news ,post courier and even on media report while every papua new Guinean feel pain in their heart but have no idea to speak up' so strange to me'.😂😂😂 🙏🙏🇵🇬🇵🇬🙏🙏
Ooohhhh Wapenamanda please why can't you just let Mr Bird To Complete His Statemen
The year of the technical glitches 😂😂😂
When are we going to make things and fix things in the country?
We have been fixing things for the last 50 years.
Pangu have this opportunity to kick Marape out and change government within the government. Simple reason, Marape does not have a political party.
The reason why we had so many drop outs is due to the education system of Papua New Guinea.
And who to blame???
We are already in the village but we tried to ask for Agricultural activities loan but the loan requirements are way to stringent to get a simple loan
That's the speaker ❤❤
How can issues solved if there's always no point of order in the parliament...Pls, we need focused minds so we know what we discuss...come on professionals!
We are talking about creating employment in the formal sector. The informal sector employment will bloom automatically if the Government provides enabling infrastructure like roads, wharves, airstrips, and market access etc to rural areas and improve those in urban areas.
What a shame for PM James Marapre to make a joke for Allan Bird when there's real unemployment. You MPs are taking everything as jokes but we the people are suffering on the streets of Port Moresby, homeless, & no concern for people but they are thinking about their own selfish gains
Definition of jobs???
Hhhhh unproductive mindset PM
Hon. Member Bird asked critically valid questions. There is absolutely no reason for Hon. Polye's interjection. These questions have the potential to strengthen or destroy the reputation of PMJM and his government. That is why PM is trying to shift the burden away from himself and place it on AB to give him the employment figures for 2019. PM simply answer the questions and stop trying to be defensive.
💯% correct
No price reduce.when did u subsidize.
James its your time don't ever put mouth on former mp Peter, the governor ask you and with ministers put Peter is not in the government now. Thanks just give the answer them we people can go there find job, that SME that you talking, that is not benefit the poor from PNG, it's only allowed the people with 100s and 1000s kina, and what about the poor people in your country, please give the good, you are our prime minister, thanks may God bless PNG.
Great man Alen
Economic empowerment is not happening in Samarai-Murua.....Can Pangu check this electorate so the PMs definition of employment can be real?....
I think the Acting Speaker is one-sided, when Opposition MP's raised their questions His Against the question.
Theirs Unbalance Powers in the Parliament.
Every MP's in the Parliament Represents People in their Provinces and Districts.
This is Very Sad for Papua New Guineans.😢😢😢😢
Powerful pikinini PNG.. toktok stret osem man stret
The speaker is somewhere!!!!
