- Exploring the use of an 85B warming filter with Cinestill 800T has made me love the film stock even more. I'm always satisfied with the colors that are reproduced with this film stock and I plan on using it more for my work in the future.

This is one of the best shot, edited, and color-graded videos I've ever seen on here, man. Unreal. I legit felt like I was watching a movie at certain points.
have a look at vuhlandes
This was incredible, I loved everything about the aesthetic, the editing style, subject matter, execution, 10/10
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video🫶🏽
Man, I had to pause the video to subscribe. Photos are top notch, scans are superior, but the video is something else! Amazing stuff
ALSO, where did you get your film scanned?
Ahhh dude thanks! I appreciate you! I self develop and self scan using a cinestill c41 kit and an Epson v600 but I’m thinking about trying a lab out in NY to see how much better the quality would be👌🏼
Love your grading and the 4:3 format of the video - can tell you put a lot of work into this, lovely stuff man keep it up!
Great results! I really enjoyed watching the video.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
..great work man, video and pictures.....👍 BM
Absolutely great video. Loved video editing, look and your pics.
Thank you 🙏🏼 I appreciate the kind words
i totally agree!! @@victoview would you like to share the look and lens u used for the video? :)
@@vanessamarino3798 yes! love the video colors! share with us if it is possible
Yo! you're in my neck of the woods! I was just gifted a 500CM and I've been going down the RUclips Hasselblad hole, haha! great video. Got a sub from me!
Haha awesome! It’s a great camera truly! Appreciate it my dude!
Just ordered one myself. Cant wait to begin. You using the 80 2.8 in this video?
The closeup at 7:33 looks stunning!
Everything about this was incredible.
Thank you 🥹🫶🏽
this was so satisfying to watch, killed it bro! 🔥
Thanks Isaiah! More videos to come👌🏼
I don't shoot film and I don't care much about film stocks but I loved your video. A lot of film RUclipsrs just feel snobby and produce mediocre photos "but it's film". I really enjoyed your photos. It feels like film served a purpose more than just being a filter. The overall video was very nice as well. The pacing was pleasant and the locations and grading work so well. Great job!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and photos!
Those shots were beautiful ✨✨
You took some dope pictures
This was incredible. Subbed 🤞🏾
Great job my love ♥️
Beautiful work! Love it!
Thank you so much!
Im def shooting my new portrait with cinestill! I just picked up the mamiya rb67 and tested out some kodak gold and portra 400! Also love the color grading!
Yes you should! You might really come to love it as I have! Thank you, the fx3 footage leaves has a lot of flexibility with color!
Love this so much 💖
Crazy, watching this while I have a roll of 800t in my 500c too! Cheers lol
You made the right decision my friend🫡
So good man! Loved the film dust on the video… do you happen to remember from where is that overlay?
Yeh, these are stunning. I think I was targeted with this video because I’ve just ordered my filter. Exciting!
Hope you enjoy it!
Oh man, finally, one of these where the photos are actually really good. I love the use of flash, how did you set up the flash with the Hassy, was it just TTL or did you manually expose?
Amazing videos!
So good buddy!
Great job from you too man! The Shots you got were fire🔥
Did you use the 85b filter for the flash portraits at night?
I like the filter you're using in your video
Great video man! Love your work! Was wanting to know what flash you used during those night portraits? Thanks!
Looks like a Nikon Speedlight SB600/800
Thanks for the love!!!It’s actually a Nikon SB-25 !
great stuff ... can you great down your flash set up with the hassi ... thanks
Awesome photos! Pls do a video on how to use a flash with the hassy
What aspect ratio is this video uploaded/shot in? Looks great
Hi! Nice pics! I'm asking myself, how couldn't you get the two "v" impressed in the left side of the black frame? How did you get rid of them? What's the film back? Thank you very much!
Great video, informative and loved the in-between cut scenes--looks like I'm watching a movie lol. What apertures were you using, especially for the close-up portraits shoulders up? If you remember that is. I ask because I use an RB67 for portraits as well and I find the depth of field to be pretty slim especially up close, wonder what it's like on the Hasselblad.
This is amazing...
great work, could you upload the setting used for the edit ? Cheers
Hello, can you link the filter? I’ve searched for a bayonet mount type of filter for my hasselblad 503cx but can’t find the one you have with bayonet mount filter. Thank you and great video!
Where did you get the brown leather bag? Looks so nice
It’s from MegaGear!
photos are bomb needless to say. what are you using for your videos ? and is that dehancer for the filmic edit? so dope love the visuals .
Thank you for the tutorial. What kind of Hasselblad lenses are you using? Cf with bayonet 60?
Nice video!!!. Do you know if this filter reduce the halation or any practical way to reduce the halation on 800T ?
No, this filter didn’t reduce any natural halation in the film and I’m unsure if is there is anyway to reduce halation other than avoiding high contrast scenes
@@victoview Thank you !!!
Hey Vic, nice video and amazing photos! Just to be sure (I'm not English mother language) you shoot the Cinestill at 500 ISO? Am I right? Keep going!
What the first girl @ 😅😅 but rlly , good work bro ❤❤🎉
great video!! btw, what brand of flash mount extender do you use for Hasselblad?
Thanks! It’s just a left hand side grip from hasselblad and on the top of side grip there is a cold shoe mount
Hey, which software do you use to grade your videos ? it's as wonderful as your photos
did you meter at 800 with the filter on? I read that you have to over expose by a stop when you're using the 85 filter.
Great video!!! which device did you use to record vid? coz its film grainy looks and color grading are so gooood
What a nice video! can I ask you about how much you paid to Hasselbald?
hi how much do you overexposed when using this filter
+2??
awesome video
Paused, liked and subscribed! Where did you get that camera bag???
MegaGear is the brand and I got it from B&H!
It's so great
Okay Subscribed 🔥
My problem with Tungsten balanced films and using warming filters is that, you are removing light to get warmer looking picture. For example shooting 500T with warming filter that removes 1-1.5 stops of light that has to be compensated means, you are effectively shooting at ISO 250 or 160. Why not just buy straight the 250D film and shoot with less noise?
Where did you order your 85B filter? They usually are 82mm.
Great video man. I strongly feel you shouldn't do a "3, 2, 1" shooting portraits, but maybe there's a positive I'm not seeing. Anyways just my Pissypants opinion for no reason. Nice work!
sick vid!! just got a 500 myself, how did you use your peakdesign strap with the 500?
Hey thanks! I have a pair of strap lugs made for the hassy system and they click on the circular knobs on the side of the body. With the strap lugs I’m able to put my peak design anchors on! Hope this helps!
And congrats on getting a 500. A truly legendary camera system I’m sure you’ll love
📷 ❤️🔥
Idk about this film specifically but usually when certain colors really pop it’s because it has a color layer that is particularly sensitive to those colors. Something like that. Someone else can probably give you a better answer tho
Ahhh that makes sense. I wonder if Kodak vision3 500t would react the same way🤔 maybe we’ll have to test that out!
Why the hell are you all so cute
