I agree with Abraham Cosworth: "When you build a three-wheeler, the two-wheeler should always be the front axle." If you build it like the one in this video you will tip over at the slightness curve when braking. A friend of mine broke his arm riding one like the one pictured above. He was braking on a curve. He is lucky to have lived to tell about it.
How about if you make the wheel in front bigger than the wheels in the back? Do you think that would help?

Frame should be mounted above wheels, nuts come loose but won't slip out of slot.
I guess he can easily flip it upside down and remount the seat , engine, etc..but I totally agree , if the welds happen to break it would be much safe, not that it’s safe to begin with .
Try making a dually trike. I made one, it was weird, but I got the hang of her and I ended up out running my friend Yako's Yamaha Banshee through a field. I built my own suspension system with the frame. It was a wild lil trike. Everone an they brother tried to buy it or steal it. But not one person got it. Eventually I ended up sliding off a road an into a ditch going 53 mph. Totally destroyed it, I braced myself an had a helmet on an ended up with a cut an bout 4 bruises. Dragged it home on foot an hung it up in a tree where it rots to this day. My cousin jus took a picture of it last week, she never knew it was there.
Now I wish I hadn't thrown away all my bicycles. I could have made several karts.😬👌👍

Back wheels are likely to come off as he welded the fittings to hold them on top instead of the more secure, and more likely the safest place of underneath. Because of this, its a potential death trap!
Yep, brackets underneath and smaller wheels geared accordingly for better strength & stability.!!

i'd like to for once see one of these builds WITHOUT the use of a welder, or other bench powertools. being some people don't have access to a shop to use ether of these things.

Yep, and by that point... just build a 4 wheeler.
Its a good idea but yoy must put support in the attachement of your front wheel to the chassis and also the attachment of your rear wheel (ehe) it must be under your chassis because when your volt and knot getting lose you will fall down.
I would’ve put knobby go kart tires in the rear, like a big wheel. Still a cool build!
This waa really exciting when Benz, Olds and Henry Ford built them 135 years ago. It elludes me why people film themselves doing in 2020 with a Harbor Freight generator/mower motor.

Great build! Be careful with the tight turns the rear wheels may fold on you. A composite wheel my be stronger. Keep up the awesome work!

Trikes were banned in the US... basically because of the unstable behavior you can see here, 2 weeks or 4 wheels > 3 wheels for stability since the force can make its way to a wheel in any situation whereas in many situations a trike will want to flip. The only trikes you can buy in the US now, are reverse trikes with 2 wheels at the front because they are more stable when stopping and turning.

First you should have 2 wheels on the front one in the back, you only have power to one wheel.
Well if you only have parts for a single front wheel.
Second, flip your frame over, then your weight keeps the car on the axle not pushing off of the axle.
Third, mount your moter to the rear. Save space to mount seat.

May I suggest using the fattest wheels you can find, like from a schwinn stingray (the latest one) or from a motorcycle. Also, add a second, top bar, connecting the bike part to the frame. That will make it harder for that part of the trike to bend, as well as making it sturdier. Nice job.
It is floppy, a good corner would wreck it, it’s a great idea though.

I would think the front is not very secure, would need rear brakes, probably rear fat tires and wheels, and a solid rear axle, so it's not pulling from just one side, and a bit longer,

Put a primary shaft before the gears on the bike and you can have both tires pull instead of just one
Cool Rig... Would've Been Better With 20 inch Fat Tires On The Rear.. More Strength And More Cool..imo? .. Also You Could Cut The Front End Off A Couple Junk 20 inch Bikes.. Weld Some Tubing Across Then Weld Them To Your Front Forks.. Just Cut Them Off And Weld The Tubing On To The Fork Stubs.. A Bike-Car !!! With What You Have.. Modifying It And Making Another Monetized Video Would Be Cool Also ?$?$? LOL.. Great Job Regardless.

20:08 задние колёса закреплены не правильно! На первой хорошей кочке отлетят от рамы! Рама должна лежать на оси колеса ,а тут колесо на раме.

He is using a geared output engine, but even so, it is too fast for comfort. He should be using a jackshaft to keep the speed within reason.
