Wi-Fi tip 3 of 6 - 5GHz Wi-Fi - what is it and should you use it?

  • Tip number 3 to better, faster, and more reliable home Wi-Fi:
    Your home Wi-Fi has a name, this is called an ‘SSID’, this name is how you identify the Wi-Fi as yours, rather than your neighbours. However, with some types of Wi-Fi systems, you may notice your Wi-Fi name appear twice, the only difference being a ‘5 GHz’ or ‘5G’ at the end of the Wi-Fi name.
    So, what's the difference and which one should you use?
