I got the pro-sized frame yesterday and I’ve already made two. It’s such fun and I can hardly wait to get the pattern book which I have ordered. I cannot recommend your product highly enough; thanks so much!
this is great, I am very interested in this after having seen it on FB and I was looking around at your site and didn't know where to begin or what I should order....so this is super helpful but it looks very frustrating and not that easy at all...the way it keeps popping off when you're doing it and I imagine you're an expert so I can only imagine how it's long going to take me long before I'm throwing it across the room in frustration!
I just ordered some loom refills. Thanks for your tutorial. I’ve made one potholder so far but I’m custom coloring a few for Christmas presents. as I’m in a family of sports fans, I’m doing black & ‘gold’ or yellow. I’m in MS & I’m a crocheted but it’s so hot, this looming potholders is much cooler craft. ~ joanie in ms.
answer your question... yes I did them as a kid - with my kids (boys and girls) in the 90's and just today I was doing them with my 5 year old grandkid and it was a great time
Would you be able to show us how to connect pot holders together? I have the Pro Loom? I also don't know how to end the pot holder. I want to make a blanket with the pot holders.
In your book, I know you show pictures, but are there instructions for the individual patterns? I’m looking for an instructional book that actually gives directions for the more complicated patterns. Also, are all your loops usable, not too short or too long?
I am new and my experience has been with the “ old school loom” but I am always frustrated with the loops..seem to be poor quality How are your loops improved and are the posts on your looms a little taller?
Yes! We have each color sold individually in two different quantities - small bundles and larger bags. Find all of our potholder supplies here: www.acornsandtwigs.com/collections/potholder-weaving
Where are you getting the loops I bought a bag of loops and there not good ones there nilon loops and heat will melt them and they don't make a good pot holder it's all out of shape
We sell the loops on our website www.acornsantwigs.com, we only offer high quality cotton loops - they don't melt, and they are nice an thick so you won't burn your hands!
I still have one I made when I was 10.
I'm a customer! Would love it if you did more videos of more intricate patterns in the book! Visual learner here!

I wish you did a subscription box for the traditional size loom not just the pro loom.
On the small loom, I use an extra-thick ponytail rubber band to hold the loose rows down and you cast off.
I use several rubber bands to hold things in place😃
