I love your videos so much I watched every single day I watch Power 10000 every single day it is Myers me on how you do the train races and everything it is brilliant and how you do it I'm your biggest fan hope you never give up well done LaserJet you are doing so well and I sound spelt your name wrong I'm really sorry by the way but good videos and I love her how to get started on the Hornby video set that's one that watched extreme when I got hornaby set so I know what I'm doing I wish I could have your kind trains and everything your brilliant RUclipsr keep on going
Do the reviews of all the other box sets you have also the final layout looks allright I used to use a track mat but it was way to small and boring so I upgraded it and just use a plain mat. But then I have dcc aswell so double bonus!
Will you ever Review the Somerst Belle or anything else you haven't reviewed? If you ever want to get an OO gauge 14xx, get the set that comes with a 14xx and two coaches! Another tip is try to buy model trains in multi-car packs, or try to find model trains used! Both are way cheaper than buying individual engines or wagons new!
Love it but this is no use for me because I already have my garage and that is just for me and I have the 1980 Scotsman if you can get it but what I said great video
I can't do this cuz 1. I don't have the money to buy a starter set. , and 2. I can't even buy a locomotive from the website because and i quote " they don't ship them to AMERICA " 🚂... If only I could live in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 then I could buy Hornsby products. Anyway have a good day today.
Okay so usually I'm supportive of you (or at least try to be) but literally this is just playing with track which I guess is fine but I mean Hornby literally made a track mat for this which is only one way to do it but this video wasn't the best advice to give people considering getting started is just getting a train set and following instructions given to you on how to put it together. Look I know you aren't too invested in the greater aspects of the hobby but this video barely talks about anything the only thing you really said was buy a bunch of stuff (which is horrible advice imo) and put it together, nothing about setting up the controller or putting together the track. The manual that comes with Hornby train sets explains getting started much better. In my personal *opinion* this is your worst video. Also first dislike.
Well said this comment is 100% correct if you're a kid and you want to get started with the hobby I think you should watch SAMs trains video of getting started this is just telling people to get loads of starter sets then get loads of expensive models that would be well over £200 I don't hate Oliver and the stuff he does but this was ridiculous i'm also dislike video
WHY DO YOU CALL MODEL TRAINS 'HORNBY'?! Hornby were not the first and they aren't even the best! THEY ARE MODEL TRAINS! Also, you don't need starter sets, in fact if you want to run a variety of trains, your better of buying individual items (cheaper old stuff, lime are normally £30 a loco instead of £100+ for newer but still basic things! Buy a bit of track and your good to go. And if your stupid enough to buy starter sets the worst thing you can do is run the trains on carpet, all the fluff comes up into the gears and motor, especially on fluffy carpets.
Burgerfilms I have had the same one set for like 3 years. And I got a 30 year old vintage set from my family last year. I don’t think I’ll get any bigger than that in Hornby
Happy 20K subscribers Lazer Jet! Please will you make more of these kind of videos? They are very interesting. Try to do a Hornby review.
Thank You
You should get sheets of paper and put it under the track
Otherwise the fluff from the carpet will damage the motors
Or you could flip the trackmats upside down
Hi @A.R. Productions
UK always has nice looking steam trains
KingMagicShadow I Agree
Like the flighing scootsman
Because britian invented them
@@rapidblazer6864 Flighting?????
But really bad looking modern trains
I tried this... picking up Mallard and the Flying Scotsman scratched the drying skin on my finger
I liked my own comment. Fight me
Alr where you wanna fight?
A Starter Set Is A Train Set That Includes An 0-4-0 Most 0-4-0s Are Starter Locos
Just ordered mine!
@@kevincook7524 Cool
@@kevincook7524 what one is it?
Actually quite nice and beginner friendly provided you got one for a good price
Lovely video Oliver, gives me a good feeling when you do the outro and then the music comes in. Liked. Daniel Wyatt
0:24
Dad: Son what do you want for ur birthday
Me: plays clip maybe a little bit more
That is a lot of Hornby trains and the cool ones are Mallard and the Duchess of Hamilton
What about the flying scotsman
A tier content
I am gonna start collecting hornby trains sets and I am actually gonna use this video for advise
Wow what a great layout!
Joebens Old channel hi me
I just realised this is loosely based of IC82's starter set guide XD
I want 2 tracks and 2 trains i want this 2 trains
yeh
To make things worse he is running on carpet
That’s epic
I have mallard, 3f jinty, 0-4-0 peckett, 9f and a 08 shunter 5 locos 23 freight cars and 9 coaches getting started very well and a custom shed
Do the reviews of all the other box sets you have also the final layout looks allright I used to use a track mat but it was way to small and boring so I upgraded it and just use a plain mat. But then I have dcc aswell so double bonus!
You are doing very well Lazer!
Will you ever Review the Somerst Belle or anything else you haven't reviewed?

You got some great sets there!
Love the video. More like this please
This would make for an interesting series.
Are hornby trains just for little kids or adults or for both
Dolphice360 - both
Dolphice360 - any age actually
I use my Bachmann table but tomorrow I will replace it with hornby cause ima get mallard my second train. My first one was Thomas but without tracks
I love the video, I live in America. So I work with backmann. Plz do more vids with model trains.
laZeR jet mate know u only need one set to start with i’ve got a HORNBY train set and it’s a GWR 107 so yeah
Very nice. I actually have some bachman ho scale trains.thanks for the tips.
crazy train Conner same. Except I use n scale
so is it a yes to the race with every engine/train you have
+ do a diesel vs steam trains
Where did you get the sound equipped loco? I’m looking to get a british train of my own!
Where were the tips ? apart from spending lloads of money and running on a carpet....all bad advice
Chris Ikin true
Agree so much. He just wants you to waste your money.
Sit down and ill have every tip of trackmaster sets not hornbys as i have 50 sets of trackmasters .-.
Chris Ikin give him a break jeez
I’m American. How do I start with Bachmann?
steakandcake buy one of there starter sets and go from there. A brand is just a name. It is all trains. Hope this helps.
Burgerfilms thanks bro
Buy Lionel in stead if you're American
Nice railway!
I'd have to be pretty wealthy if I need all that just to get started, considering they will cost more in U.S.A. dollars!
even MORE in australia dollars
What about in 💴
The 0-4-0’s are extortion priced no way a simple motor and plastic body costs 44 quid
You don't need a official starters set, I have bought a loco, 3 cars and some tracks. I already had bought a power supply
can you do a video where you have tornado, flying scotsman mallard, and peregrine as a quadruple header
Should you use MDF ?
Nice!
Hey lazerjet can u get the Hornby 14xx?
Love it but this is no use for me because I already have my garage and that is just for me and I have the 1980 Scotsman if you can get it but what I said great video
Nice video 👌👍👏
the mallard looks like the father of the Pendolino
Do pendolino vs Mallard
Please do Percy vs GWR 1340 Trojan
SudrianRailwayStudios Trojan is not in the game ;-;
Nice
It says "lean" in the description
Please make a kato review
how much would you say it'd cost? 1:55
This is just like intercity82s video, still pretty good tho
I LOVE YOU
At 2:24 your Mallard sounds like it has squeaky wheel
There's the virgin Pendolino.
Yes
You literally re-created an IC82 video not very original is it? going by your train vids I'd say your in no position to give advice on this at all.
Cuxlf
Stop being mean
I can't do this cuz 1. I don't have the money to buy a starter set. , and 2. I can't even buy a locomotive from the website because and i quote " they don't ship them to AMERICA " 🚂...
If only I could live in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 then I could buy Hornsby products.
Anyway have a good day today.
I love only is my lazer jet
Is that a game or is it not please tell me
The UK has hornby sets...
The US has to get hornby sets off eBay
Non-named Thomas brand uh, no.
Well where I’m from
Get a superclass 45 hornby locomotive
I have 1 starter set and all the exstention packs
He got that idea from IC82
Btw use peco track its much better
Bachmann Thomas? I'd expect Hornby thomas
have you been to ron lines he sell such cheap hornby
Okay so usually I'm supportive of you (or at least try to be) but literally this is just playing with track which I guess is fine but I mean Hornby literally made a track mat for this which is only one way to do it but this video wasn't the best advice to give people considering getting started is just getting a train set and following instructions given to you on how to put it together. J-Torrent5MT wow
100% honest, I won't support him if I don't feel it's good.
Yeah I watched Sam's Trains' video cause I couldn't fit the track together haha
Problem is ebay is a scalpers paradise
Hornsby race pendolino vs mallard
First!
yay,,,
Cool but who is gonna buy that many sets and trains? 5 out of 10.
How much is one?
Hyper Hyreo for a locomotive it's £100
And above
I fixed my hornby mallard
Or just get track packs instead of getting an entire train set
Try buy and sells for stuff
But there is one thing in my way....my budget
Royal Rails then start small and go from there. You do not need that much stuff to start.
Me very impress
Hi lazer
#1
you recreated ic82s video
I used plywood
Is this a toy set
no they cost hundreds
You realise how much this will cost in dollars and dollars are about 5 times bigger than pounds 😦 so sad for me 😭
WHY DO YOU CALL MODEL TRAINS 'HORNBY'?! Hornby were not the first and they aren't even the best! THEY ARE MODEL TRAINS! ThatTrainGuy well said
Buy and sells are great for expansion
Why do you need 5 starter sets lol
Start watching Sam’s trains
Where do you think all the views came from?
I think all that is a bit much to "start" but thanks anyway :)
Far too much starting out considering the cost
so the first thing you need is money
lol
You should actually start with DCC.
Hornsby is soooooo expensive
transparent lemon tell me about it
Start slow, I had only one train set for my first year. Take your time to build an impier
Burgerfilms I have had the same one set for like 3 years. And I got a 30 year old vintage set from my family last year. I don’t think I’ll get any bigger than that in Hornby
i have a hornby set
அது நல்லாயிருக்கு
