Colchester Floods February 2009

Just had snow all over the UK, that melted and then the rain came. It all went into the rivers and the rivers tried to take back the land. The flood barriers which are about 1.5meters high were leveled to the brim, so close call for us as the house is next to the river...I was looking forward to a bit of an adventure if the house was to get flooded, unfortunately i didnt get my adventure.....lol
